Hotels are hotels, but the staff here were excellent and very willing to try and accommodate reasonable requests. Like opening the conference room for an hour, or discussion about what food we liked before recommending where to eat. Close to early morning cafes, opposite a great park and heaps of parking.

Overall a pleasant stay. The room was nice and had all the necessary things you would expect. It was clean overall, although there was some visible wear and tear in a few spots. The staff was really nice and helpful, which we appreciated. The only real negative was the noise from passing guests in the hallway, as the room door was poorly soundproofed. This made it easy to hear people coming and going. Aside from that, it was a good stay and I would still recommend the hotel.

Good location. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Although not overly large, the room was big enough for our needs, and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately I did not sleep well at all due to a constant whistling / howling wind in the corridor and coming through the door to our room (4th floor) - hence my 2 star rating for the room. I mentioned it to the receptionist in case no-one else had advised them. She indicated that they were aware but having problems resolving the issue. So although we were satisfied with everything else, I would not stay here again unless I was guaranteed that the wind noise issue has been rectified. I was very disappointed with getting a poor night's sleep given we paid normal price for the room even though management are aware of this noise issue.

We had four nights in 504A. We had a view of the water and could not fault the cleanliness. The towels were replaced daily if we left them on the floor of the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable - not too hard and not too soft. The only disappointment was that we only received two coffee pods each day from housekeeping. It would've been nice to have had at least an extra two. The Quest is one and a half blocks from the beach road and close enough that I walked back to grab a jacket when we were at a local restaurant for dinner and the wind picked up. Will definitely stay there again.
