The Local Lead
Well appointed private cinema and event space for hire. The cinema room has AV equipment and seats for approx 50 guests. Murals adorn an outside wall and one inside wall and there are drinks available at the bar. Street parking after hours is easy to find.

What a pleasure it has been to host the Integrity Initiative launch event and the premier of my feature film, Forget What You Think You Know. Ian - the owner - is the kindest, most caring and considerate soul I have encountered in a long while. His generosity and support through the organisation of my launch event (for my grassroots, lived experience and youth led mental health charity) has been absolutely unreal. Ian, I don't have the words to express my gratitude towards you. You are an exceptional human being, and I feel very fortunate to have had the pleasure of meeting you. The venue itself is absolutely STUNNING. The way it is decorated is comforting, beautiful, and really just a marvel in and of itself. The tech side of things was far easier to navigate than any university system (speaking from experience), and Ian was incredibly supportive in the set up, pack up and management if the event. Thank you beyond words. I hope everyone sees how incredible The Backlot is. From little things, big things grow x

A lot of friends show their films here and I've been keen to go. Glad I did! A great little place to showcase local filmakers and actors works. Very reasonable pricing. The host for the evening was welcoming and funny which was great to set the mood. Venue has very comfortable seating. Sound and screen were good. Easy to get to. We had a lovely night and I hope to be back to support Perth artists in future

Great little place. Parking isn't great, there are "No Parking" signs everywhere. The cinema though... nice.
