Whether you're having an overdue lunch in our Family Bistro with your loved ones, or a well earnt refreshing beer at the end of the day out on our Alfresco deck, we have something for you. We believe that good food should be shared with good company, the game should always be on with a beer in hand and all should be welcome. Just a 15 minute drive out of the city centre, The Saint George is the perfect spot just off the coastline.
Loved this place, it looked good. Had good vibes, has an area for everyone. We took the kids. Playground is really good, they have water misters setup outside for when it’s too hot. The food was hit and miss. We had the pepperoni pizza and the deli chicken sandwich. The pizza was ok, I thought the base was a bit tough to chew, other than that it was a pepperoni pizza, it is what it is. The sandwich was good, my wife liked it. She commented about the dill being a nice touch. Besides a chewy pizza base, nothing to complain about, and would definitely drop back in.
We had our engagement party at The Morris and had the pleasure of being looked after by Olivia, she went absolutely above and beyond for our day. I cannot recommend both Olivia and The Morris higher to cater for your events and special occasions. We booked the Terrace, which was a fantastic space for our celebration and fit all our guests. The food was fantastic and great value for money. The staff were attentive, kind and communicative. The team even set up a gorgeous little engagement sign for us, and offered to play our music from our own playlist for the night. The Morris was already our local, and I would return in a heartbeat to book any other function. 10/10.
We had a fabulous evening at The Morris on a quiet weeknight in December while holidaying in Perth. Being part of the A.L.H. Group, I expected a good experience, and The Morris certainly delivered. We’ve dined at many A.L.H. venues - mainly in Brisbane - and I’ve always found their standards consistently high. Even so, The Morris exceeded our expectations. The venue looks bright, clean and modern, as if it has recently been upgraded, creating an airy, homely and spacious atmosphere. There are several dining areas, both indoors and outdoors, but we chose what appeared to be the main indoor dining room. It was carpeted, stylishly decorated and quiet, with acoustics that made conversation easy. The wooden tables and upholstered chairs were comfortable, and the table size easily accommodated all our dishes and drinks. As it was just my wife and me dining, we shared a single entrée and ordered two mains. For the entrée, we chose the cheese croquettes - five croquettes with a rich, cheesy centre and a crisp, golden coating. A perfect start to the meal. For my main, I went with the fish and chips, which came with a portion of salad, a slice of lemon and tartare sauce. It was delicious, with a generous, chunky piece of fresh WA fish, crunchy chips and a wholesome salad. My wife chose the lentil and potato pie, which was rich, creamy and also a very generous serving. The drink special happened to be one of my favourites - a pint of Gage Roads Single Fin for just $13, which is excellent value these days. Our total bill for the entrée, two mains, a pint and a cold drink was $95, which I felt was reasonable given the high quality of the meals and the overall dining experience. As always with A.L.H. venues, the service was impeccable. Staff were neatly dressed in smart uniforms and were friendly, patient and polite. Ordering through the app was easy, and the food arrived promptly - first the entrée, then the mains - just the way we like it. The ambience was super chilled, relaxed and laid back, perfect for our last night in Perth. Toilets are clean, well stocked and clearly signposted, making them easy to find at the back of the venue. We didn’t drive to the Morris, but I did notice the large parking area right outside, so I’d imagine parking is not a problem. Overall, we had a fantastic evening at The Morris, and it’s definitely on our list for a return visit next time we’re in Perth. Thanks to all the staff and management for creating such a lovely venue.
Tuesday night dinner with my love and friends. Food was good and tasty at a reasonable price. It's a large venue so plenty of room for large groups. Service was a bit slow, not clearing tables to make some room for drinks and desert. Other than that a good evening.
Darcy is a freaking legend. A man among men. Sonnets are sung about him throughout the lands and damsels fall at his feet. We will forever live in memory of the night we met the mighty Darcy of The Morris. Food and drinks were pretty alright too :)
