A true hidden gem! I recently visited this rooftop bar and was genuinely impressed. The space itself is a hidden gem — stunning views, a relaxed vibe, and the perfect spot to unwind. The cocktails were fantastic and made really well. I ordered the garlic pizza and the prawn & avocado salad, and both were delicious. The flavours were fresh, light, and exactly what i were hoping for. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for great food, great drinks, and an even better atmosphere!

Dined at Central Cucina which was a great laid back experience. Waiter, Ben, was exceptional with great customer service and people skills 👏 The food was generously portioned, tasty and affordable. A good experience for a family dine out.

Wow...What a find. Every Thursday night, my daughter and myself have our date night and dine at different restaurants. Our waiter, Michael, made us very welcome and we both felt that he was really engaged in us having a good experience and enjoying our night out. Whatever you pay him, he is worth a lot more to your business. The service, the food, the view and the atmosphere was excelent. Prawn salad, Crab ravioli, Steak frites. Hidden gem in Hurstville hahaha. I always thought it was hard to find a great place for Western food in Hurstville, but Above8 is awesome! The only hard part is that it’s a bit tricky to find – you have to go into Club Central, take the lift to the top and then find your way out, which is a bit confusing. But the food is absolutely great! I love the service, the vibe, and the prices are really fair for the quality. I’ll definitely be back. And during lunchtime the view is amazing if you sit outside.

A Fantastic Dining Experience at Above 8 We had the pleasure of dining at Above 8, and from start to finish, it was an incredible experience! The food was absolutely delicious—we couldn’t fault a single dish. We enjoyed pan-fried barramundi, chicken supreme, and for dessert, the vanilla cheesecake with raspberry and raspberry sorbet, along with the indulgent Valrhona Delice. Every bite was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. To complement our meal, we sipped on Little Goat Creek Sauvignon Blanc and Quilty Shiraz, both excellent choices that elevated our dining experience even further. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles, and the exceptional service continued throughout the night. The staff truly made our evening special. If you're looking for a fantastic restaurant with amazing food, great wine, and outstanding service, Above 8 Rooftop Bar & Lounge is a must-visit! Highly recommended.
