Pretty good location - central to lots of nice cafes and restaurants Rooms very VERY clean, which was fab. We booked the base level double room. Yes, it was small… but the price was right, and it’s perfectly fine for a solo traveller or even a couple who are spending most of their day out exploring, and not in their hotel room. All amenities provided were of a high standard. Staff were super friendly.

First time visitor...We were told it had a recent major renovation. We got a free upgrade which was nice of them. The gentleman at the front desk was nice and polite. Got to our room and they had fitted out the rooms with some pretty funky coloured carpet. It has a great location to Surry Hills and Oxford St. One thing to note, the underground car park is extremely precarious. It's so tight in spaces in so many ways, if you have a large or low profile car, forget about it. 😉

Great location, a quick walk to Museum train station and off the main road so it is very quiet. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the little cafe downstairs, nice morning treats and great coffee. Would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay here! The whole building is beautiful & quirkily-decorated & the reception staff were friendly. The room was spacious, very clean & the bed & lounge were comfortable. Loved the rainhead & coffee pod machine! Very close to public transport & mins from the city & Oxford St. There are lots of good places to eat & get a drink nearby. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in a nice neighbourhood, cool shops and coffee shops within short walking distance, and also not far from the city. We arrived early, and was initially a bit put off by the indifferent (borderline unfriendly) greeting by the guy at reception. He however allowed us to check in early (we arrived around 8am), offered to upgrade us for a small fee. The room was just okay, had a fridge and bath tub which was nice for us, and a balcony. Appreciated the daily cleaning service. Recommended places to check out in the area: Paramount Coffee Project (their avocado toast is delicious), Single O coffee, cool shops along Fitzroy Street (we bought some nice Mud ceramics), and the coffee just at the lobby entrance of the hotel.
