Annata Restaurant & Events Venue

Annata is a wine led restaurant on Sydney's Lower North Shore, designed for occasions where the food, the wine, the service and the sophisticated but friendly ambiance all matter. Annata coordinates every detail to meet your event needs. Our new home at 66 Chandos Street, St Leonards opened in November 2025. The beautiful new venue gives guests a larger, more sophisticated dining space, a modern kitchen and a dedicated wine cellar, only seven minutes' walk from Crows Nest Metro and St Leonards Station. Parking is available, so your guests can arrive easily from the city, North Sydney, Chatswood and the surrounding suburbs.

Inside, the look is warm, polished and relaxed. Aubergine feature walls and dark columns set off honey toned timber floors and chairs, crisp white linen and fresh seasonal flowers. Brass wall lights and soft globe pendant lights create an inviting evening glow, small table lamps add intimacy, and sheer linen curtains along the large windows filter the daylight by day and glow at night. A vintage French wine poster, bold contemporary paintings and fine art photography by local artists give the room its character. The fluted timber bar, with softly lit arched shelving behind it, anchors the space, and timber racks display our boutique wine collection. For Christmas, weddings and celebrations, the room dresses beautifully with flowers, candles and fairy lights.

Guests are welcomed by friendly, attentive staff who look after your event from the first enquiry to the last glass, and the atmosphere is refined without being too formal.
We host groups of 10 to 80 guests in three ways:
• Restaurant Floor. Discreet dining areas for tables of up to 20 guests.
• Private Dining Room. Exclusive use for 20 to 40 guests, ideal for corporate lunches and dinners, Christmas parties, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, engagement celebrations and winemaker dinners. Your group has the room to itself, with a dedicated service team and audio visual included for presentations, speeches and slideshows.
• Entire Restaurant. Exclusive hire of the whole restaurant for up to 80 guests, perfect for boutique weddings and receptions, large corporate functions, product and wine launches, client events and end of year celebrations.

The cuisine is modern European, led by Executive Chef Jordon Garcia, whose seasonal menus balance precise technique with generous, expressive flavour. We tailor every event menu to your group, drawing on our regular four course set menu, a la carte grills, a vegan menu, a kids menu and desserts. Executive Chef Garcia will customise your menu to two, three, four or five courses, and can offer alternate drop service if you wish. We cater for all dietary requirements by substitution within the set menu formats, including vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, dairy free, coeliac, pregnancy related and religious needs.

Wine is a core strength of the Annata offering. Our list runs to more than 200 boutique and classic wines from Australia and around the world. Our sommelier will recommend pairings for your menu or run a guided tasting or degustation for your guests. Annata also hosts monthly wine degustation dinners and winemaker evenings, so we are a natural choice for winery and distributor vintage launches. Our Wine Concierge service can also source special wines for your event at competitive prices, even if they are not on our regular wine list.

Whether you are planning a Christmas party, a boutique wedding, a corporate event, a private birthday, an anniversary or a launch, Annata delivers a memorable dining experience that will impress your guests. Events can be held at lunch and dinner during opening hours, and at other times by arrangement for private groups.
