The Ballroom (Macarthur, Campbell & Donahue rooms) is our largest Blacktown venue, located on the ground floor and is the ideal event space for your next meeting, conference, wedding or private event.
Our Ballroom can be decorated and styled to create the perfect atmosphere for your wedding or special event. With customised menus, décor and details, we can accommodate tight-knit gatherings or grand celebrations for up to 150 people banquet style or 200 people cocktail style. From the moment you arrive, the staff are exceptionally welcoming and happily attend to any request to ensure your stay is an enjoyable one. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the beds are very comfortable with king-sized pillows, along with a double sofa bed if needed. The pool is very luxe, and you are welcome to use it and the gym while you wait for your room to be prepared if you arrive early. The restaurant has a lovely open bar area, with more than enough options to suit everyone's taste. The industrial-style decor of the hotel stands out for its relaxed vibe, tech-friendly features and has a cool, warehouse-inspired aesthetic - exposed brick, bold colors, a trendy lobby space which makes it feel more boutique. The entire area has an incredible ambiance, especially at night, when the main sliding doors are opened and you can dine overlooking the lit-up pool area. The drive in cinema is right next door, along with access to the waterpark facilities, and is only 10mins away from Westpoint Shopping Centre if you need anything else! It is my go-to whenever I need to visit the area, and don't be put off by the commercial surroundings. My only criticism is you cannot cast your phone to the TV. Whether it's just for one night or a week, you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the doors at Atura Blacktown!

Stayed at this hotel over the Christmas period. My husband and I had a pretty spacious room for us but some of our families rooms where they had to open the lounge, it began to feel cramped. There was two receptions who were fantastic however a few issues with our room service that lowered the overall score. We only asked for room cleaning on one night, to reduce the need for cleaning from the staff but every room our families stayed in, there was an issue. Our bed wasn't made, another room was cleaned on two different occasions, even after asking and things like new towels, changing the bin or general cleaning was missed for them. The location without a car would be very annoying. Thankfully we had our cars. We were also notified a day before our reservation started that they had parties every night, four nights in a row and therefore parts of the hotel was blocked or the volume from the parties went until the late hours. This meant we couldn't really enjoy a family dinner at the restaurant downstairs because it's right next to the open doors of the party in the pool area. This is where location also failed, because the only other food options were to order Uber, as the pub next door was closed by 8pm. So we drove to West point. Overall there were other small issues but I still did enjoy the amenities once they were available and the blonde staff member at reception was very efficient, friendly and helpful. We stayed at the Atura Hotel for the GTR festival and couldn't be happier with our experience! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was fresh and excellent every morning. A huge thank you to Alvaro and Karla and the whole team for providing such outstanding service. Highly recommend and we look for be back soon

Have stayed here plenty of times over the last 5 years with work. Rooms are spacious for 2. The reception staff are usually helpful but this week, 3 nights there, the short woman on reception was condescending and dismissive. Bordering on angry. To me and a number of our party over 2 of the nights. On top of that the dinner menu seems to have suffered, unfortunately not very appetising. The $58 steak was delicious but too bad if you’re spending on the other options, most of our party were dissatisfied with what they paid for. Basic menu options but just not palatable. Feels like the place needs some staff rejuvenation and to do better in the kitchen.

The room was clean and the stay was generally comfortable. However, there were a few disappointing points. The room information mentioned a coffee machine, but there wasn't one in the room. The fridge was also fully stocked as a minibar, leaving very little space for guests who want to store their own food and drinks. My main concern was that at around 10:21 AM, while I was still checked in and before the 11:00 AM check-out time, a staff member entered my room without knocking or notifying me first. I was later told he’s checking the minibar, but it was unexpected and made me feel uncomfortable as I was still occupying the room. Overall, the stay was okay, but clearer room information and better respect for guest privacy would improve the experience.
