Babylon is inspired by the once-thriving metropolis and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Our unique rooftop location is the perfect place to host your next event.
Each event space at Babylon Rooftop has been carefully designed to draw inspiration from traditional Middle Eastern culture, where gatherings are about celebrating flavourful food in good company. Through an assortment of laneways and private dining rooms leading to an outdoor terrace, Babylon has an overall capacity of 800 guests.

Babylon Sydney Function Rooms
Ishtar
Encompassing an indoor private marble bar, expansive rooftop terrace with skyline views and private bathrooms, Ishtar is an entire venue of its own. Ishtar offers ample space for corporate events, product launches, and other grand celebrations, with a capacity of up to 400 guests in cocktail style. This private event space provides a luxurious and sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for those looking to impress their guests.
Hanging Garden
The Hanging Garden is Babylon’s undercover rooftop courtyard featuring heaters to keep you warm and cosy, even on the chilliest of nights. With a cocktail-style capacity of 100 guests, our space is perfect for everything from corporate events to birthday celebrations. The Hanging Gardens also offers a private bar and waitstaff, ensuring that your guests are taken care of throughout your event.
Sippar
The Sippar is perfect for those seeking a semi-exclusive and sophisticated atmosphere. Our space boasts a capacity of 80 guests cocktail style. As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere created by our stunning herringbone wooden floors. Our space is located indoors, but features a beautiful glass wall that exposes our outdoor terrace, allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds.

The Larsa is Babylon Rooftop’s exclusive dining room with a capacity for 18 guests. This space includes a built-in TV and is perfect for boardroom lunches, intimate birthdays and anything in between.

My girlfriends and I went for a girls night dinner and cocktails at Babylon and we had the best night ever! The food was unforgettable (especially the halloumi) and the drinks were magical! But the best part of the night was the service. Our host Davide was so friendly, attentive and organised. He ensured that we were comfortable and had everything we needed, he even made sure to clear the table before taking pictures to make sure it looks good. When the photo he took didn’t turn out nice, he followed us outside the restaurant and asked if we wanted to take another one. Loved how he went above and beyond with a big smile on his face. Give Davide a raise! Thank you Babylon for a great experience.

Good quiet dinner on Mothers Day (Sunday evening) on Rooftop. Lots of open table available, but would recommend a booking in advance if you are planning to go in Friday or Saturday. Decent spread of Vegetarian / Vegan food available. Food was good, well presented and tasty. Ambience was lovely.. with perfect temperature maintained for a warm and cozy family dinner Service was good as well with not much of wait time between order and serve Price on the higer side with portiins size smaller than expected.. but worth it if you are celebrating a special day or ocassion. Would love to visit again...

Yesterday we had work Christmas lunch Friday 5th Dec 12:15 for 11people. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality. The service was attentive yet unobtrusive, and every dish was beautifully presented with fresh, delicious flavors. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, creating the perfect setting for an enjoyable meal. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience that left a lasting impression.

I had booked a dinner for 2 in the restaurant for my partner’s birthday and then a later group booking outdoors at the bar where his friends would surprise him. The venue staff were very accommodating in making sure our restaurant booking was sat far away and out of sight from our garden bar booking, which made the surprise go perfectly when we walked out to the bar after dinner. Our waitress Ecem was really lovely and her customer service was so attentive and warm. Every dish we had for the dinner was delicious, highlights for me were the halloumi, scallops, steak and cauliflower. The outdoor bar had great vibes too, we got a nice spot in a semi-private loggia which was lucky! Will definitely be back!

I took my girlfriend here for the first time for both of us and it was a very nice experience. All the food that came out was exceptional but the only two little things that were missing was the flavour inside the chicken, the outside skin was flavourful but the inside was just too dull. The consistency. We got this beautiful dish with yellowfin tuna and the presentation was on a big plate, just as it should be. The table next to us got it on a little plate. Then with the dessert, our slice was thinner in height and width and under garnished (with no sign or flavours of marshmallows as it was advertised on the menu) and the table next to us had there one served which was double in height and width, over garnished and more visible of marshmallows. Other than that, the experience was great
