Had an absolute blast at Cardea Barangaroo! The vibe here is unmatched—rich, opulent red decor and a lively atmosphere with live music that makes every moment feel special. I got to try my hand at mixology with their interactive cocktail-making experience, which was so much fun and surprisingly easy to follow. The bartender was not only incredibly handsome but also super knowledgeable, walking me through every step with patience and great tips. Drinks turned out perfectly balanced and delicious! The noise level was just right—energetic but still easy to chat with friends, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. For a night of great drinks, fun activities, and a top-tier atmosphere, this is my new go-to spot in Barangaroo.

Finally found a bar that captures that Gatsby magic! Cardea at Barangaroo is pure 1920s elegance. velvet sofas, carved ceilings, the whole jazz age vibe. Caught their Gatsby-themed burlesque show and it was stunning: think feathers, fringe, and storytelling through movement. Classy, not tacky. Cocktails are solid (mocktails meh). Surprisingly good food. Lobster Pasta and stuffed zucchini flowers were standouts. Show nights have a $35 admission fee, but worth it for the immersive experience. Already eyeing the next one!

The bar revives the core of Art Deco style with a contemporary polish. The interior feels glamorous and dazzling. So much so it's quite theatrical. It reminded me of the movie Moulin Rouge or The Great Gatsby - the parties, the boisterousness, the banters and laughters. A nice place for an evening for a glass of wine or anything else. It's close to the harbour so you can pop out for a walk after. Definitely recommended.

The vibe is elegant yet cozy, especially with the live jazz playing in the background 🎷 We tried several dishes and every single one was impressive: 🍴 Truffle Croquettes – creamy, cheesy, and bursting with truffle aroma. 🦆 Duck Spring Rolls – perfectly crispy with a sweet-sour sauce that balances it all. 🐟 Yellow Tuna Sashimi – light, citrusy, and fresh. 🥩 Pork Belly Bao – crunchy outside, tender inside, pure comfort food. 🦪 Oysters – chilled, briny, with a touch of lemon bubbles — a must-have with cocktails! 🍫 Chocolate Pebble – rich and smooth, the perfect sweet ending. Every detail — from the cocktails to the lighting — feels carefully curated to slow time down and let you enjoy the moment. If you’re looking for a place in Sydney that blends vintage glamour with great food and live music, Cardea is the one.
