Reviews for Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf

Whilst the venue is great, the administration staff really need to step it up and improve. My event was a month ago and they still havnt refunded my bond back to me. I got a bank remittance earlier this week after chasing it multiple times and guess what still no money in the bank 3 days later. I just called and Reception told me there was an issue with the bank and the funds didn’t go through. What the? For an organisation of this size you need to do better.

We went to Doltone House for a private party and it was exceptional. The food was great. The staff was professional and helpful. We enjoyed the food served and the facility was spacious enough for a couple hundred guests and it didn't feel too cramped.

Doltone House is nothing short of incredible. We recently photographed an Engagement Party here and were blown away by the attention to detail, the seamless coordination from the team, and the elegance of every corner of the property. From a photography standpoint, the light, the architecture, and the backdrops were a dream to work with. IG @taylorburtonweddings

We attended a catered event and the food was good quality. Service was efficient and friendly, but we were seated near the main exit and it was cold and draughty with not much we could do about it, even with the door closed.

The venue is remarkably beautiful no doubt, the view of the harbour and the bridge is exceptional to say the least. You can snap some extraordinary pictures from the top deck. The boats coming in are a wonderous site in the backround the harbour Bridge is amazing to behold as is crown towers, and centrepoint tower. I have attended more than one function at the DOLTONE HOUSE venue's, wedding's, bridal showers, chrostenings, birthday's high-tea etc etc. Great atmosphere and surroundings beautiful elegant proffessional service by staff, lovely furnishings. Food was good nothing extraordinary apetisers however are yummy..but u get what u pay for and the wedding packages arent always something to go off when u can choose other items. All in all, I'm always thrilled to be there for any event. Parking is exactly accross the road from the venue and its easily accessible. Love the dock with plenty of space to take a walk and get some great 📸 photographs.
