Great variety of different locations within the venue, food flavour, size and value for money was to standard for lunch as well. Parking directly out the front, bar staff could be more observant for those paying their wages opposed to their own phones giving them nothing but a distraction for why they applied for the job - tighten up on a no mobile phone policy.

I’ve been to The Forest Hotel multiple times and love it up there! Classic pub food that always fills the belly, killer variety of beers on tap, and great atmosphere!! The staff are super friendly! And you can tell it’s well managed. It’s got something for everyone, and a must try if you haven’t been already.

When you advertise a meal to be served with salad, that's what a person expects. Coleslaw is Coleslaw not salad. Especially after being a local and expecting the beautiful salad you used to do. Very disappointing. Won't be coming back now, this was cheap and nasty

Amazing environment, staff super professional, friendly and really kind, good food and wonderful drinks. It could have more options for dessert, but everything else makes up for it :) I went in a group of 10 friends and they had a perfect table!!! Good for family, couples and even for single girls or boys 😉 I definitely recommend 👏✨

We've been to the Forest Hotel quite a few times lately as we are renovating. Quite frankly I am really underwhelmed by the food. Super expensive for super average food. I just had the Ceaser Salad and it was terrible. $28 because I added haloumi. The haloumi was overcooked and rubbery, the lettuce was limp and drowned in dressing, the croutons almost broke my teeth with how stale and hard they were (my husband joked it was like biting into a Lego piece) The bacon was cheap and nasty. Last time we were there with all 5 of us the meals were so average and we spent over $250 for 5 meals. The steak was so insanely chewy but cost almost $50! Please price down to pub costs if you are going to serve average food. I'd rather go to a nice restaurant and spend the same amount for beautiful, fresh food.... I wish this could be a positive review but I'm just so disappointed.
