We were excited to have dinner here last night for my partners birthday. It was a special occasion so we ordered the steaks, medium, our favourite. When the food arrived, mine was almost blue, the centre was completely raw. Since it’s an expensive dish and I couldn’t eat it like that, we let the server know. It was taken back to the kitchen. My partner’s steak was also severely underdone, not quite blue like mine, but very rare. We didn’t mention it as we didn’t want to offend too much. When my steak came back, nothing had changed. Raw and cold to the touch in the middle. The plate had been microwaved as it was warm but the meat was just as luke warm and uncooked as before. When I told the server again he asked if I wanted them to “put it back on again” and at this point the steak had been passed around so much that I was turned off and asked them to cancel. My partners steak was only 50% edible (pictured) it was mostly rare and bits of fat. We both didn’t get to enjoy a meal, I didn’t get one at all, and rather than making any of it right, the server barely looked us in the eye when giving us the bill. $104 and we had to make alternate plans for dinner after we left. EDIT AFTER RESPONSE FROM OWNER: It’s not that it didn’t meet our expectations, it was an objectively bad meal that no one would be happy with or should have paid for.

18th Birthday Dinner with 32 guests Charly please accept our heartfelt ♥️ and sincere thanks to you for your kind and patient manner as you gracefully dealt with our family fussiness with some of their meals I was much less stressed with you there on the night taking control of everything Moomo and the tall male waiter are so kind and friendly also 🙏🏻 10/10 for venue, atmosphere and food ! Everything I ate was delicious. The prawn tortellini and the mushroom risotto were outstanding as were the accompanying garlic bread and salad. And of course the service outstanding For such a great venue and high quality of food etc it was a very decent price ! Please also pass on our thanks to the bakery - the cake also received lots of positive feedback

It was a quiet Wednesday night so not many guests. The food, beer and service was great. Our meals were wonderful taste - beef and lamb cutlets. The beers were very good especially the Brown and red Ales even though they didn't have an amber ale.

Dropped by for the Oktoberfest event — the music was on, everyone was raising their big steins while I stuck with my schooner (not at that level yet 🤣). German sausages and other classic dishes were on the menu that night. Such a great vibe at Frenchies Bistro & Brewery inside the Rosebery compound. Had the Double Phresh IPA — smooth with a nice, intense bitterness 🍻

I got steak frites and their red ale. The steak was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend their steak. I had a cup of their red ale which was amazing. I would cone just to drink this ale again.
