Freshie Clubhouse is a modern Australian clubhouse inspired by the surf clubs, sporting clubs and local pubs that have long brought the Northern Beaches together. Open Wednesday to Sunday, it’s a welcoming spot for long lunches, family dinners, footy watching, live music and laid-back catch-ups with mates.
Formerly Freshwater Brewing Co., the venue has been completely transformed with warm timber finishes, nostalgic coastal details and plenty of old-school clubhouse character. Another stop in the Brookvale brewery pocket. Freshwater Brewing Company keeping the taproom lively with a solid lineup of craft beers. That night they had Brazilian BBQ and a Brazilian DJ, bringing great energy to the space.Tonight’s vibe came with Brazilian BBQ and a Brazilian DJ, bringing serious energy to the space. Good beers, smoky grills, and music in the background — hard not to stay for another round. 🍺🔥🎶

Stopped in a Wednesday arvo for a quick beer while in the area. Not many people in so plenty of options where to sit. Grabbed a Freshie Pils which was a bloody good drop. Have been getting back into Pilsners lately and this was up there, definitely could have had a couple. Was keen to get a snack from the kitchen but apart from hot chips wasn’t really anything for one. Wings would have been nice and were on the menu but only in larger quantity and I wouldn’t have eaten that many flying solo. So didn’t end up trying any of the food. Would be good to come back when there is a bit more atmosphere and with the crew to hit a few more of the taps and try the food…..updated review to come…..

Good spot on the Brooky beer circuit. Did love how clearly laid out the menu is with when the live music is on. Every place should make their menus like this and no surcharge on Sundays is another BIG plus for this place. Staff were friendly, ribs were excellent and the HH was great. Hazy could have a bit more depth to it for my liking but it does the job. Avoid Thursdays if you don't want to be subjected to little Johnny running in circles with the rest but definitely add it to your list of places to try.

Thank you to Adam, the event manager, along with the chefs and bar staff at Freshwater Brewery for making my 40th birthday such a fantastic night. I held my party in the private upstairs function area on 7th March 2026 with around 75 guests, and Adam was wonderful to work with from start to finish. He helped coordinate the entire event and provided great advice on the amount of catering needed for the number of people attending. The space was clean, well set up, and very welcoming when we arrived. I had a number of older guests attending, and Adam made sure there was plenty of appropriate seating available, which I really appreciated. There were also two bar staff present at all times, so there was never a queue at the bar. I had arranged a bar tab, and Adam helped ensure it was cost-effective by guiding the drink selections. There was plenty of food and it was absolutely delicious. Adam was also there on the night and checked in regularly to make sure everything was running smoothly. Overall, I had an amazing night celebrating with my family and friends. I would highly recommend Freshwater Brewery as a party venue!
