Welcome to the Harlequin Inn, Pyrmont. Affectionately known as “the Harley” to those who frequent our venue, we are Pyrmont’s premier socialising venue. We are just a stones throw away from Sydney CBD with lots of transport access options – buses, trams and ferries. We have a fantastic choice of no less than 19 beers or ciders on tap and a very long and well-balanced wine list. We even have over 20 screens plus 2 giant projector screens to watch sports and socialized among your peers. Formally known as the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel since 1880, the Harley was refurbished in 2008 to become the most popular Hotel in Pyrmont today. With all that it has on offer, it's no wonder why Harlequin Inn rated high among other bar restaurants.

Edinburgh Room Whole Floor
The Edinburgh room is perfect for larger groups and can accommodate a group of up to 300 guests. It has an entertainment area, a pool table, two big screens which can be used for presentations, or you can even choose to watch games from various sport channels. The room has a mixture of low tables and armchairs as well as high stools and bar tables arranged to suit your function style. Located on our upper level, it is fully equipped with your own private bar, smoking area and restrooms.
Edinburgh Room North End
Edinburgh North is a fantastic function space at the top of the stairs with access to the Ground Floor bar. Edinburgh North has a pool table and its own private bar with a partition separating it from Edinburgh South. Great space for corporate meetings. Sunny during the day. Shared toilets if Edinburgh South is in use and shared smoking balcony.
Edinburgh Room South End
This diverse space is great for intimate groups or larger functions and can be tailored to suit your needs. Enjoy a private bar tended to by our friendly staff. Located on our upper level, it is fully equipped with a bar, dance floor, a big projector screen for presentations, shared smoking terrace, restrooms and isolated entertainment system. For smaller functions we can reserve any section of the floor you would like based on the number of guests.
Lounge Bar
Soak up the sport with your own giant projector or sample some of our 19 beers on tap. This area is located on the ground floor, over-looking Union Square and is perfect for small to medium size groups. Room Hire Fee: No fee with minimum bar spend.
Dining Space
For a smaller group you can have your function in our seated dining area, adjacent to our terrace garden space. Located on the ground floor. Minimum Bar Spend: No minimum spend. Room Hire Fee: No room hire fee.

Great little pub. It has recently had a renovation downstairs that has opened it up and feels more modern. The staff are friendly and efficient. There's a courtyard that's mostly filled with smokers and an upstairs bar with pool table. But even on a Saturday afternoon/evening doesn't seem to need bar staff 😒

For a tired tourist, The Harlequin pub was a great location for some respite after a busy day of sightseeing. Friendly staff, a good selection of brews on tap and I enjoyed wonderful outlook over Union Square on a warm spring day in Pyrmont. Worth a visit for a cold beer and a time to chill.

Great local pub in Pyrmont with a really nice fit-out. Comfy chairs inside, friendly and attentive staff, and a happy hour that actually feels generous with large wines at very reasonable prices. Sitting outside on Harris Street is a real highlight, with a lovely tree-lined outlook that makes it easy to linger. Plenty of screens, so it’s ideal if you like sport. Not a romantic spot, but a cracking social pub.

It is a brilliant pub with a lively atmosphere. The choices of drinks are excellent. I went with friends for lunch. Somehow, no one liked the food. The food tastes average for the price. Responsive service. Airy and Clean interior with plenty of seating options. It's not an excellent choice for food. Compared to the other pubs in this area.
