Had such a good experience at Highfield Caringbah! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provide excellent service. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous servings and great presentation. Such a great local spot with a beautiful vibe. Highly recommend for a relaxed lunch … and service was quick!!

Had an event here and the service was appalling. Room not set up as arranged, had to rearrange it. Food not served as planned. The tables were full of dirty plates for over an hour, had to go ask for a garbage bag to clear some space for cake. The $400 trolley was lucky to have $100 worth of food on it. Pig was nice but the sides were put out so early, the “hot” sides were cold. Supposed to get rolls so guests could have a pork and gravy roll, they forgot them and said it wasn’t part of package, showed them email, and they were eventually brought out after everyone had eaten. Part of $25pp kids package was ice cream, they didn’t receive any. Staff apologised saying they were short staffed, not our problem! An event should have assigned staff to look after them, especially after what it cost. SO disappointing Update: emailed address on company response 3rd March, they replied a Manager would contact me. It’s now 26th March, with no phone call as promised. I guess the company is too big to care. As a Motel / Restaurant manager, I always followed up any complaints straight away, not acceptable not to. Well now 16th June, no correspondence from them. Don’t bother emailing them, just a response pretending to care. Rip off place!!!!
Coastal Life
I liked the food but I ordered a meal with a salad and it just came with a heap of parsley no lettuce one piece of cucumber and some onion. I looked around and everyone who was having the same plate had left all their parsley too. Such a shame as you can’t enjoy a salad with the meat you ordered.

Went there for my birthday on a Monday night so not a busy night but was dissapointed. Food was nice and tasty. They really need to wash their glassware properly. Bought a bottle of sparking and the glasses were dirty with lipstick stains on them. Very disappointing, had to ask for clean glasses but even then they had watermarks on them.

Went here last night for a quiet birthday and bevs. Ordered the 2 250g rump steak using the 2 for $35 Feros voucher. Food came out quick and very well presented, tasted amazing. For drinks I ordered a Citrus Rhythm which was a special and it was really good. Was served by a young man, Francis, said it was his first or second time behind the bar but he was just lovely, poured a beer quite well and made my cocktail. If you're in the area definitely give this luxury pub a try
