The hotel is in an excellent location, directly opposite the QVB and within easy reach of shopping, dining and the city centre. The ladies at reception were friendly and welcoming during check-in. However, I arrived carrying a significant amount of luggage and bags, and despite several male staff members standing in the lobby, no assistance was offered. Unfortunately, our family connecting rooms were charged twice. Despite contacting the hotel and requesting management assistance, no manager returned my calls and, as of today, the duplicate charge has still not been refunded. The rooms felt quite small, particularly given the size of the furniture. On a positive note, the block-out blinds were excellent and provided a very comfortable sleep environment. The lifts were extremely slow, which became frustrating throughout the stay. I also feel the Executive Lounge would be better positioned on one of the upper levels to provide a more premium experience and outlook. The surrounding area is convenient, but it was very busy in the street and hard to navigate due to king size mattresses on the side walks. The Glass Restaurant was by far the highlight of the hotel and offered the best part of our overall experience. Overall, while the location is excellent and there were some positive elements, we were very disappointed with our stay due to the lack of assistance, unresolved duplicate charge, slow lifts and the overall standard of the room experience. 5 star is not the experience.

I stayed for 2 nights. I was granted an early check In which was nice. Stayed on the 35th floor which was also the executive floor but didn’t get to use the lounge. Breakfast was served at the restaurant and the selection of food was very good. The room was small but adequate and everything worked well. The staff were nice and helpful so overall good albeit uneventful stay

We stayed here for two nights (Feb 13-15) prior to a cruise, in a Twin Deluxe room on the 40th floor. The public spaces of this hotel are very nice, and the location is excellent for shopping and dining, not to mention the variety of transit options nearby (with the light rail right outside). We felt that the room was pretty standard, but perfectly nice. We had a great city view of Town Hall, the QVB, and up George Street, and the technology and decor were all up to date. The bathroom had a sliding frosted glass door (which we dislike), and it was mis-aligned so left a half inch gap exposed when closed. Breakfast was much better than I had expected, and the Glass Brasserie was beautiful. We ate at the beginning of the peak period both mornings, but there was plenty of seating and no wait (there was a long line when we finished on Saturday morning, however, when the hotel was fully booked). We would happily stay here again.

My five day stay at the Sydney Hilton was nothing short of exceptional. The rooms were newly renovated, state-of-the-art and comfortable. A nice environmental touch was the fresh filtered water taps to fill my travel bottle eliminating the need for plastic water bottles. A special thank you to Chris, Head Concierge, who was wonderful at recommending tours, as well as providing advice and guidance during my stay. Kudos to all the staff who were very friendly and professional. I travel the world staying at Hilton brand properties and Sydney Hilton ranks among the very finest.

Had a wonderful stay at Hilton Sydney during my trip to Sydney. The location is excellent — very convenient for walking around the city, shops, and restaurants. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. What stood out the most was the hospitality from the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast spread was also really good, with plenty of options. Overall, it was a smooth and comfortable experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sydney. Special thanks to Johnny for helping load my luggage into the Uber. Since I stayed for 20 days during my business trip, the restaurant team got to know my preferences so well. Even before I asked, they were ready with my hot latte and omelette prepared exactly the way I liked.
