Reviews for Holiday Inn Express Macquarie Park

Convenient and comfortable family base We traveled as a family of four and found this to be a great, no-fuss hotel. The location is very practical, being so close to Macquarie Centre and public transport. The rooms and bathrooms are modern and clean. While the room size is average—it would have been better if it were large enough for a proper study desk—it was sufficient for our needs. Having a gym and laundry on-site was a lifesaver for a family trip. While the hotel offers a continental breakfast, the attached Coffee Club is very convenient if you want a barista coffee or a substantial meal. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed here before and it was very good. This time things has changed poorly. We stayed during the Christmas holidays, pillows smells like someone else's stink sweat. The pillow itself needs wash, we put to the side. The buffet is limited, there use to be more, it's only watery scramble eggs, bacon, sausage that looks unusual and noodles. We did not have bfst just the tea. They have stopped giving out Christmas cookies during the stay and it has poorly gone down. Service was lovely from the Indonesian girl in the front desk, she was quite new thou, but her service was nice. We do like holiday inn, it's just sad it's gone this way. We were in unit 318.

As to add more I will write a quick line of positive feedback. The room is perfect the bed is like a chamber from a palace in China and the screen delivers utmost affect to the neural pathways of our cognitive functioning as we need the best sleep ever. I know I was able to have a shower and also the worlds best breakfast. Bacon, vegetarian eggplant and tomatoes wafting with garlic, the amazing technology where the coffee is in the hot water and the lemon honey tea helped my sore throat. With juices of every kind of fruit imaginable which was called tropical; I was able to feed my gut and my brain. The fact that the coffee club is outside to have coffee and tea made no difference as the drinks at the hotel sufficed themselves. However I had breakfast with my mother at the coffee club which is highly recommended! Thank you Uki I will never forget such kind, courteous, polite staff from Mongolia. Kay you have done very well with your hotel. I wish that I can stay more often. But unfortunately tonight I was asked to leave the lobby even though other people were there. I don’t mind this but when you are scolded for just existing you feel like you have no worth and I would prefer a night at Quest than have a man from China treat you like dirt in my own country. Again if you are full Asian you will be welcomed. If you are full Aussie or at least a mix . Best to keep clear from this hotel. Thanks for leaving me out in the rain and not offering me accomodation some time in the future!

Lately renovated, staff showed friendliness to guests. And in good profession. Holiday Inn impressed me a lot for their good management and nice presentation to guests. This hotel let my money go extra mile, namely very worthy. Next time top priority. Thanks guys.

The service in midnight is efficient. The man in reception did delay check out for me for free is so considerable and heartwarming, thank you!! However in the morning they changed reception team and the staffs have cold attitude and being rude. There’s nothing much to choose in breakfast at least I didn’t get full. Room is clean and tidy.
