We stayed at this hotel for two nights last year during a business trip and had a very pleasant experience. Considering the price we paid, the value was excellent. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay, and we left with a very positive impression. Unfortunately, our experience this year was quite different. The overall quality seems to have declined. The towels and bed linen looked worn and no longer felt as fresh as before. The biggest disappointment for me was the breakfast. As someone who really values a good cup of coffee in the morning, I was surprised to see that the coffee machines from last year had been removed. Only instant coffee was included, and if you wanted a barista-made coffee, you had to pay an extra AUD 7. It felt like a step backwards compared to our previous stay. It’s disappointing because this hotel used to offer better value for money. I hope these issues will be addressed, as based on this experience, I will probably consider other hotels for my next visit

Stayed here for a work trip and it ticked every box I needed. Look, the rooms are no-frills, but they're spotlessly clean and have everything you actually need for a business stay. It's not trying to be a luxury hotel and it doesn't need to be. Sometimes you just want a solid, comfortable base and that's exactly what you get here. The self-service laundry was a lifesaver for a longer work trip, and the gym was a great way to wind down after a big day. The café next door (separately run but super convenient) had decent food and I ended up eating there quite a few times, easy and no fuss. Best of all, the office was just a short walk away which made the whole trip so much less stressful. No rideshares, no parking dramas, just a quick stroll and you're there. For a business hotel it does exactly what it says on the tin, and does it well. Would happily stay again on my next Sydney trip.

We stayed here for 2 nights and unfortunately had a very poor experience from the moment we arrived. Within 15 minutes of entering our first room, we used the bathroom and discovered human faeces on the wall tiles next to the toilet paper holder and down the wall. This was in plain sight, making it clear the bathroom had not been properly cleaned at all. We immediately went to reception to report it. The staff were unable to offer us another room of the same standard that we had originally booked and paid for, and we were instead moved to a downgraded room. After moving into the second room, I did a quick bed bug check and immediately found a bed bug. At that point, we were honestly shocked. We returned to reception again and showed them photos of everything. We were then moved yet again to another downgraded room. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. Between the cleanliness issues and multiple room changes, it completely ruined the stay. I also felt the level of consideration and compensation from reception staff did not reflect the seriousness of the situation.

Michelle at the check in desk was awesome. Her customer service was the friendliest I have encountered in a very long time. Pleasant, friendly, personable and professional all rolled into a smiley face and great personality. Give Michelle a huge pay rise or promote her before someone steals her. Kyuna and Emily at the counter were just as spontaneous in their customer interaction with me and friendly. I wish I had reason to visit Sydney more often.
