TLDR - Slightly pushy and below average side dish. The server is new but she did a good job at the questions we have. The only issue was the insistence on us ordering side dish for our steaks even though we already have 2 entries and 3 main (and added a side lobster) before being ask again. We end up ordering a side mac and cheese. Everything we ordered was amazing EXCEPT THE MAC AND CHEESE. Please never order that as it’s basically small pasta with white sause (taste like average can sauce). Even the small amount of cheese on top is not charred/“toasted”. Overall the experience is not bad and issue is totally avoidable. But the expectation is high with $100+ per person spend.

I was really craving a good steak, so we decided to try Kingsley. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. The service felt pretty average, and the staff came across as quite cold. When I ordered wine, the vintage listed wasn’t the one served. I asked if they could bring the correct year or something similar, but the staff simply said, “This is what we have.” I wasn’t comfortable paying the same price for a bottle that was a year old compared to the four‑year vintage advertised. Only after calling the manager did they agree to bring an alternative bottle. The food was also underwhelming. We ordered bread, crab croquettes, prawn linguine, sirloin steak, mashed potatoes, and roast beans. The bread and prawn linguine were flavourful and enjoyable. However, the sirloin (MB2+) was quite dry despite being cooked medium rare. Overall, the experience felt average and definitely not value for money.

WOW - would give 10 🌟’s if I could! We had an amazing outdoor undercover table overlooking water/boats. The service by everyone was outstanding, and the steaks… best ever! (Note that you may need to separately purchase sides with your steak, recommend the mash and carrots). We got $25 off our table meal charge using The Pass app. 2 of us were celebrating birthdays and the restaurant kindly brought out a birthday treat for us 🥰. Kingsley’s will be the first port of call next trip to Sydney! Thanks to all kitchen and wait staff for a truly magnificent experience🙏🏻✨

Booked Kingsleys for Christmas Day lunch and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely incredible and the staff were in fine form (just so easy to talk to, didn’t need to track down for drinks and generally happy to be there). Every dish was amazing and would 100% recommend Kingsleys for Christmas Day! Worth every cent and we will be back again!

Yesterday, my fiancé and I had the pleasure of dining at Kingsley’s, and from the moment we arrived, we were met with outstanding service. Not only was the food amazing, but the service and location were equally impressive. I often find that many city restaurants rely on their location to make up for average food; however, Kingsley’s exceeded all of my expectations in every way. Our waiter, Thomas, asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, and I mentioned it was my fiancé’s birthday. I didn’t expect anything to come of it, as past experiences have usually led to nothing. To our surprise, after the bill was settled, Thomas returned with a complimentary dessert and candle. This thoughtful gesture made both my fiancé and me feel incredibly special and truly capped off a wonderful evening.
