Great place to meet with friends, have a drink and eat dinner. Popular all day long, but may get crowded evenings in weekends. Happy hour between 7 and 9pm, good meal deal 15AUD - decent portion of calamari, cesar salad, juicy steak or burger with fries.

1st Visit: Had a fantastic $15.00 Steak for dinner last night. It was perfect.Chips were great and the salad. The staff were great! Would highly recommend. 2nd visit: Went back again! And, once again the food was perfect. Steak cooked to perfection. Great salad, the salad dressing is beautiful and chips were yummy. Once again a great meal at a fantastic price. 3rd Visit: Sunday 3rd August Once again the food was superb. The steak was perfect once again The staff member in the yellow jumper was fantastic. He was so friendly and he was just a fantastic employee. He was so helpful and went out of his way. We had a great evening and we will be back in a few days.

Really nice bar in Taylor Square for people watching. Very interesting decor and worth walking around the inside. Unfortunately like many places in Australia there's no seating at the bar so you sit at a table and go to the bar for drinks. The bartender was very personable and friendly, which always makes for a good experience. We ordered the Caesar salad and the Chicken sandwich which was just ok.

Lots of outdoor seating which is great this time of year. They run dinner specials most nights, tonight I had fish and chips & salad which was a large portion, and a great meal for $15. I can’t remember the name of the cider they served but it was a 10/10. Friendly staff, attentive staff, that makes the place a standout choice for a good pub meal at very reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommend. Meal, special + 1 bottle of cider for approx $22 (the price guide of $20-$40 might mislead you to think it’s expensive ).

Visited on Saturday quite late and noticed the music and overall atmosphere has changed considerably, in a great way! It had such a fun, relaxed and easy atmosphere which made the night really enjoyable. After chatting with some staff and a manager, we were told that one of the managers, had left or was on leave or something and this was the reason for the change in atmosphere. It was pretty unanimous that he was disliked by all the staff and management. Although it was ashame to hear that the place doesnt care about what the staff think regarding management it was nice to hear they had removed him from the situation and the overall venue is picking up. It was relatively quiet which was a shame, but we'll be back soon! Staff working that night were fantastic!
