Only issue was the phone in my room did not work. I reported it to reception1st day and they said they would get somebody to look at it, but still not working when I checked out. The room itself was very nice and well appointed. Would have liked a jug of cold water in the fridge, otherwise will definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Me & my partner had a wonderful experience at the Mercure hotel to celebrate our anniversary. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, along with being clean! And I really liked that the hotel is a short walk from a bus stop, it made going to the beach and shopping so much easier. The staff were all very attentive & friendly, the lady at reception was very kind & housekeeping was very friendly too! I highly recommend coming here if you want a nice place with easy access to seeing the beaches and more. Thank you for our stay. 🩵

Our room didn't have any coffee or tea when we arrived (person cleaning rooms did give us supplies when I asked) and no more replaced when the room was serviced. Plates and cups available but no cutlery. Not even a teaspoon to stir our coffee. Clean room with firm sofa, TV and small table and chairs. Great bar and Cafe in the lobby that was reasonable priced and offered happy hour.

Booked online through booking.com. Supposedly 24 hour concierge and checkin, got there at 11 and they refused to check us in or give us a room because they ‘are closed’. Despite the reservation being non refundable. What a joke. Absolute disgrace of customer ‘service’ Just a reminder why stopped staying at mercures. Basically $350 stolen from us. Also customer service on at the time outright lied to us saying she had contacted booking.com to say she would cancel and they have no record she did that. Absolute scummy woman

Comfortable, clean and decent rooms. Friendly helpful service. Great breakfast (worth the extra payment). Laundry room with dryer was really handy, as our stay was last minute for field work (no change of clothes and we were filthy!). Off street parking for a fee. Handy location.
