Great atmosphere, genuinely lovely staff, good food, good drinks, and a nice big bar. Has pretty much everything you’d want - I’ll definitely be back. Brought my dog along with me as it was recommended and loved how dog-friendly this place is, staff were super helpful and brought out a bowl of water straight away. A few other dogs there also which was nice to see. Food was delicious; I had the fish pie and it really hit the spot. I's rate the Guinness too, plenty of people ordering it, so you know it’s a safe bet. I was there just after 5pm and it was already starting to get a nice buzz, with live music setting up.

Went for their Sunday roast: lamb - $35 +$1 per extra Yorkshire pudding. Amazing. Cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Food being served to other tables looked good as well. We'll definitely be going again. Service was friendly but a little bit confused.

I had the fried chicken burger for my lunch and it was delicious with just the right hint of spice. The portion size was generous, and the chips were great too. Chef Jane was absolutely lovely, and Ali behind the bar was super friendly—great service all around!

Very nice hotel with great master chief menu. All foods are great and really make it too hard choose the best food. Very different options for drinks and beers. Nice staff. Highly recommended. Its our great spot to change mood and feel better.

My boyfriend and I visited The Nags Head on Sunday at 5PM for a roast dinner, and unfortunately it was quite disappointing. While the lamb, chicken, and roast potatoes were lovely, the carrots and broccoli were rock hard, and courgette was oddly included, not something you’d expect on a traditional English roast. The chicken also had pesto on it, which didn’t really make sense. The gravy portion was tiny, and even after asking for more (which I was happy to pay for), it was just another small pot, so I didn’t bother asking again. We then ordered espresso martinis, but were told the coffee machine was off and they could only serve premixed ones, which at $44 were really poor quality and had to be sent back, something I hate doing. That said, the staff were all really lovely and seemed very busy, which we appreciated, it’s just a shame the food and drinks didn’t match the service.
