I had a really great stay here. The reception staff were lovely and the room was spotless with plenty of space and a nice big balcony. The bed was huge and super comfortable. I enjoyed the food and drinks at the bistro downstairs, and the bonus breakfast with a morning coffee was such a nice touch. The location is beautiful as well. I will definitely be coming back.

Woken pre 7am by tradesman hammering roofing outside my window and violating my privacy. Raised concerns with builder then reception who were extremely dismissive and condescending. Immediately accused me of lying before even bothering to check the camera footage of the site which is directly in front of cctv cameras. Very dishonest and unscrupulous operators. If building works are strictly prohibited before 7am why have you not investigated my complaint? A paper notice was left in my room on arrival saying emergency work would take place after 9am with the loudest work to happen in the middle of the day. Do you want to reconsider this pathetic dishonest response? Do your cameras record sound and images? The evidence would be very easy for you to obtain, you have made no attempt to do this.

Midweek stay. We were very impressed by the hotel especially having the bistro on site for meals as it was a raining heavily during our stay. The free parking, free waters and the welcome drinks all added our overall enjoyment.

We stayed at the hotel and hosted a catered Celebration of Life in their Ocean Bar Function Room. The venue was beautiful, the food was really good and the staff were all outstanding. 100% would recommend for any functions or even just to book a room.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family for one night and, while the facilities themselves were lovely, I was very disappointed with the quality of service we received from Andrew, who appeared to be handling administrative check-ins, and hotel guests. From the outset, his manner was unwelcoming and unnecessarily curt, over the phone and in person. Despite this being a hospitality role, he did not smile or extend even the most basic courtesies upon our arrival. Unfortunately, this attitude was not only directed toward me, but also toward other members of my family. Having stayed at many hotels over the years, I can confidently say that this level of service is well below the standard of professionalism one should expect. Hospitality is about more than simply processing a check-in — it is about creating a welcoming environment, especially for guests who may have travelled long distances. I feel this is an area the hotel seriously needs to address, as it impacted our overall impression of the stay.
