We booked Olio for our engagement party turned surprise wedding. It was the absolute perfect venue for our night. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Our run sheet was far from straight forward or traditional, but we were able to customise everything to suit our needs perfectly. We booked the entire restaurant and Terrace, using the Terrace for our ceremony. Because it was a surprise, the Olio team were able to block the Terrace from view, so none of our guests knew until we made the announcement that it was a wedding. Later in the night, we were able to have a killer dance floor in the restaurant, which was very important to us. All of our guests have spoken so highly about the food, drinks, and the service. We’re so happy to have chosen Olio for our night.

An absolute delight! The food was amazing, the atmosphere beautiful and the service outstanding! We had the 9 course Olio Experience, and what a wonderful gourmet food experience - it was all so delicious. The blue swimmer crab squid ink pasta was divine, as was the wagyu rump. The tiramisu was decadent. And they make a pretty mean martini too!. Service was fantastic, friendly and professional. The whole experience takes 1 hour and 45 minutes and they were right, just the right amount of time. Highly recommend.

We visited Olio for the 8-course tasting menu and it was a wonderful evening from start to finish. The standout dishes were the toothfish and the wagyu beef — both were cooked to perfection. Each course was beautifully presented and the progression of the menu felt well thought out. The wine selection was impressive, with great options to complement the food. Service was attentive, professional and warm throughout. The ambience was intimate and elegant, great for a date night. Highly recommend the tasting menu. We'll be back!

We recently dined at Olio and chose the 9-course tasting menu. The food was exceptional from start to finish, with every course beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with great care and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard of the food. Upon arrival, we waited around five minutes before being acknowledged. The wait itself was not an issue, but several staff members walked past without greeting us or letting us know someone would be with us shortly. Throughout the evening, the service felt quite cold and impersonal. On multiple occasions, when dishes were served, we politely engaged with the waitstaff and asked how they were, but received no response. The plates were simply placed on the table before they walked away. Having dined at many busy and highly regarded restaurants, we understand that service can be fast-paced, but it is uncommon to experience such limited interaction or hospitality from front-of-house staff. The food was genuinely outstanding and is the reason we would still recommend Olio. However, the service lacked the warmth and attentiveness expected from a restaurant of this calibre. If the hospitality matched the quality of the food, the overall experience would have been exceptional.

We had the 9 course tasting menu and it was well worth it considering the food, service and atmosphere. Highlights were the squid ink pasta with crab, and the prawn bisque which was presented in a cloche for a dramatic smoky effect. I also loved the champagne sorbet. Overall, a lovely restaurant to dine in for a special occasion.
