Orso Bayside is superbly positioned on Sydney’s Middle Harbour, adjacent to the Spit Bridge in Mosman. Elegantly appointed and with a spectacular marine panorama of sailing boats, pleasure craft and cruisers on Middle Harbour, Orso boasts an abundance of natural light through clear floor-to-ceiling glass expanses and can cater for functions of up to 250 guests.
Orso is found on the absolute waterfront, with its own beach, jetty and deck – as well as a resident family of photogenic pelicans paddling outside at most times. In keeping with its origins as a boatshed, guests can arrive at Orso by boat and tie up at Orso’s private jetty, or utilize ample car parking on either side of Spit Road.
The venue's rectangular tables allow a flexible number of guests per table to enjoy intimate conversation without missing out on the spectacular water view. Orso’s design features are muted to better reflect its special waterfront surrounds. A sea of white damask-covered tables, outdoor canvas awnings; natural carpet, sand-hued border tiles and polished timbers emphasize the scene. Lighting is deliberately soft, utilising a special sail device that nods to yacht sails and the curvilinear forms of the hulls moored in front of the function centre. The function centre at Orso is fully air-conditioned, complete with a large private balcony and jetty overlooking the beach and the water. This stunning waterfront wedding venue will provide you with the personalised service events required, whether on a wedding day or birthday.

Beautiful venue, great communication, friendly staff, excellent food. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a gorgeous location and top class service- our guests were all so impressed. Our event happened to be on a very hot 40°+ day, and the staff very considerately allowed our guests to come in a little early to get out of the heat, which we really appreciated. Thank you so much Amy, Ellie, Sam, and all the staff who worked together and made everything so beautiful and easy.

We recently got married at Orso Bayside, on 10/10/25, and to say they were exceptional would be an understatement. Not only is the venue stunning, but from the first meeting with Amy, through to our tasting with Sammy and the delivery on the night by Sebastian and the team, we couldn't fault their professionalism and hospitality. Nothing was too big or difficult, and communication was prompt and clear. We felt they had it under control and met our vision with ease. On the night we were never without a drink in our hand, and the food was absolutely delicious. All our guests have nothing but positive things to say about the event, and that comes down to the team working there. If we could give a higher rating we would!
