After trying a few different hotels in Parramatta (and surrounds), this has comfortably been our favourite. As we are travelling with a toddler, safety and cleanliness is high on our priorities and the rooms here met all of our requirements, such as a shower/bath and sturdy furniture with curved surfaces. The location is also fantastic, being a short stroll to the supermarket and lakeside dining precinct. Many of the rooms have great views of the hills and parks in the area as well. The cafe adjoining the lobby is also excellent! Special thanks to Tristan who welcomed us on reception and ensured our requests were fulfilled in a prompt manner.

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and unfortunately, my experience with cleanliness was very disappointing. The floors, especially in the bathroom and toilet area, were clearly dirty. At first, I wasn’t sure whether it was just the color of the tiles or actual dirt. To check, I wiped a small section of the bathroom floor with a white towel, and it immediately became very dirty, confirming that the tiles had not been properly cleaned. This level of hygiene is unacceptable. To make matters worse, there were no basic amenities provided. When I asked at reception about slippers, I was told that the hotel does not provide any slippers at all, which was very uncomfortable given the condition of the floors. I have attached photos and videos to support this review.

Asked for a quiet room. Was put in room 535. Until I went to bed. The lift shaft behind kept me awake all night. Avoid. Really needed a sleep... Feel worse for the stay.

Punthill Hotel Norwest delivered an extremely disappointing experience due to its consistently poor service. Staff appeared uninterested and unhelpful, with requests either ignored or handled very slowly, making even simple issues frustrating to resolve. Communication was unclear and unprofessional, leaving guests feeling like an inconvenience rather than a priority. For a hotel that presents itself as a quality accommodation option, the lack of basic customer care and attention to detail was surprising and unacceptable, ultimately overshadowing any positives and making the stay thoroughly unenjoyable. Would never recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Bed is two beds pushed together unfortunately they are different heights so makes it a little uncomfortable. Manager was lovely. A bit irrated that the room was paid for by company but they wanted me to put a $100 deposit. I have never had to do this at any punthills previosly. Beautiful location and very quiet. Close to train station and coles.
