Pub with views Sitting on a corner with views out to Darling Harbour this pub ticks a lot of boxes. The pub covers four floors each with its own character, we made our way to the top floor which is quieter and easier to talk. All floors have views. Food is good standard pub good with daily specials. Schnitzel $17.50 on Thursdays ect. Salads fresh and helpings generous. Good spot if you a tourist or local wanting a reasonably priced lunch or dinner to set you up for touring around Darling Harbour. Cocktails good choice, lots of beer on tap and bar staff fast and helpful. Service and staff all very nice. Bathrooms clean. Love your local guide/ M❤️
This is a great spot for food, drink, service and a view. Reasonably priced. Clean bathrooms. What's not to love? We were there at a Saturday lunchtime and booked ahead, but it wasn't overly busy.
We stopped by here to eat dinner before a show at The Lyric Theatre. Service was helpful, polite and quick. Food was great pub grub. Drinks were cold. There are 3 levels with bars and tables. The upper 2 have some views. Book a table if you want to be sure of getting a table, or stroll in and take pot luck.
We sat on the top level, The food was delicious We had two chicken snitz with sides of gravy, mushrooms sauce, mash potato, garlic prawns in garlic sauce We cannot say a bad word about it. The staff were all so lovely and service was so quick.
This is my local! I thought I’d have $15 steak deal medium with a drink.. it was after 11 am on Wednesday, I ordered the deal with one sooner, the bloke behind the bar charges me 26 dollars! So 12💰 bucks for one coopers. I asked him why it’s so expensive, he said because the drink is separate, so 12 for a beer the meal comes out and the steak is well done not medium! Deal? Or scam! I’m never going back! Terrible
