Our stay at QT Sydney was absolutely exceptional. You cannot beat the location, the quirkiness of the rooms and the amazing hospitality. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Victoria. From the moment we met her, she was an absolute dream with our daughter. She made her feel so special, loved and included, and my daughter couldn't stop talking about Victoria. It takes a special kind of person to create that sort of magic for a child. To make things even more memorable, when we bumped into Victoria again later during our stay, she had gone completely above and beyond. She had organised a bunch of balloons, written the most beautiful birthday message for my wife and a heartfelt message for our daughter, and thoughtful goodies for both of them. It was such an unexpected gesture that genuinely made our celebration feel extraordinary. Victoria runs the Insider Tours at QT Sydney, and after seeing how passionate and caring she is, we'll absolutely be booking a tour with her the next time we stay. Thank you Victoria for your kindness, warmth and incredible hospitality. You turned a wonderful hotel stay into a lifelong family memory. QT Sydney is incredibly lucky to have you!

Stayed at QT Sydney for 3 nights recently, booked through Qantas. Overall was really happy with the hotel, though would not recommend room including breakfast- just not worth the extra cost for what you get. What we loved: the included welcome drinks - the Pinot noir was great, the funky decor, elevator music and vibe, Staff generally friendly and helpful, duvet! not the flimsy sheet and blanket most hotel have), Dyson hair dryer!, free movies (my daughter found a couple kid friendly ones she really liked), and the Bath tub! So comfy and luxurious to have a few baths over our stay. The not so great: breakfast- got the higher priced room with it included- what a let down. Very small servings, few choices. Considering many great hotel have a buffet breakfast included for similar cost when added into the room I though the hot drink, juice and small breakfast option just was not a good value- I walked out a bit hungry still. My daughter didn't like any of the options available. Also, while the minibar looked great, there weren't any prices listed and QR code link didn't help. We avoided because realised probably huge mark up on the items. Finally there is no privacy into the bathroom- the glass display cabinet separating the room and bathroom doesn't provide privacy. I stayed with my daughter so wasn't a huge deal but might not suit everyone.

Arrived with 3 big luggages and 3 carry ons. We were assigned a room where we had to traverse another a set of stairs (around 15 steps) to get to the elevator. Lady checked us in and assured us all 6 luggages would be up in the room in a few minutes. 30minutes passed so we went down to pickup the carryons and was again assured the bigger luggages would be up ASAP. another 30 minutes and we CARRIED the big luggages ourselves. Credit to the 1 staff who ended up helping us (this after 1 hour). Secondly, no one answers the phone. Usually takes me 10 minutes of calls before reception answers. Service gets 1 star. However, Location is superb. Pitt street mall is right outside. The tram is around the corner. Cockle bay wharf is 10minutes walk. You cant get better location that this if CBD is what you are after. Room and lobby design is amazing. Very unique.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at QT Sydney. For a hotel advertised as five-star, the overall experience fell far short of that standard. Parking around Market Street is extremely difficult, and I was given no information before my stay about parking arrangements or recommended options. I ended up parking in another car park at a cost of $290 for just one night. When I arrived, the theatre-style entrance looked interesting and unique, but there was no welcoming front-of-house atmosphere. I eventually spotted a staff member who simply directed me to the elevator to reception on the first floor. No one offered to assist me with my bags. After checking in, I was told that I needed to navigate two flights of stairs to reach another elevator to access my room. This was extremely difficult as an older guest with limited mobility, yet once again, no assistance was offered. The elevator area leading to the rooms was cold, tiled and uninviting—frankly, it looked more like a public toilet than part of a five-star hotel. The room itself was acceptable, but certainly nothing special and not what I would expect from a hotel with a five-star rating. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. The lack of accessibility, assistance, warmth and basic hospitality was very disappointing. It is a zero-star experience from me, and I would not recommend this hotel.

Our stay at QT Sydney was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We were delighted to be able to check in early as our room was ready, which made the start of our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's design is simply stunning: the interiors are unique, elegant, and full of character. The colours, décor, and overall atmosphere are beautifully curated, making it one of the most stylish hotels we've stayed in. A big thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay so special. Everything was perfect, and we can't wait to return!
