Resident DJs keep the mood lively, but smooth, and if you’re after a private space still in earshot of the beat, there is a reserved area for parties of 10-40 guests. Gilt Lounge can also host one-on-one meetings, filming sessions, product launches and of course, flowing cocktail events.

Arrive via the elegant black entrance off Market Street to gold class service and your own private silver screen - a hidden gem unlike anything else in the Sydney CBD. Comfortably accommodating up to 56 guests, this intimate space is not just a functioning cinema but also the ideal venue to host boutique press conferences, tech launches, fashion showings, art exhibitions and more. Equipped with next generation AV capabilities including 4K projection and a 3D screen, The Screening Room is made for delivering lasting impressions, and an exclusive bar area ensures guests can mingle pre or post event with ease and comfort.

Perched above the bustling Gowings Bar & Grill and slyly sitting next to Gilt Lounge, Market Room must be a Gemini; at times playing the quiet enclave for boardroom meetings, and at others the private soiree space for cocktails and frivolity. Awash in natural light the wrap-around windows peer down onto Market Street and the iconic QVB. This changeable space seats up to 40 guests, can be set up in cocktail style for 80 guests, or can be combined with our George Street Landing area for a cocktail event of up to 120 guests. Market Room offers a state of the art audiovisual setup and free Wi-Fi, as well as access to Gilt Lounge for breakout spaces and post event tipples.

In contrast to Gowings Bar & Grill below, George Room is for private and intimate dining experiences. Connecting directly to Gilt Lounge, this elegant space can seat up to 24 guests, host 35 guests cocktail style, and when combined with the George Street landing area, can comfortably host up to 150 guests. For those looking for a conference experience with a bit more life, George Room breaks the yawn-worthy mould of the classic boardroom with plenty of natural light, a state of the art audiovisual setup, free Wi-Fi and inspiring views over the iconic QVB.

Behind velvet curtains lies an intimate late night lounge, a comfortable corner that’s close to the main bar yet exclusively in its own section. The Pink Room is perfect for small private parties of 10-20 guests that would prefer a slice of Gilt Lounge to themselves.

spaQ is all about the art of unwinding. Imagine offering a spa treatment in a conference break or a cutthroat shave at a buck’s party. From the landing to the steam room, massage tables and barbershop, creative organisers have a field day designing bespoke events at spaQ.

Our elegant GILT LEVEL EXCLUSIVE incorporates the adjoining MARKET, GEORGE + PINK ROOMS. This exclusive floor hire can accommodate private dinners, cocktails, weddings and parties of up to 200 guests in cocktail style. It is the perfect venue for cocktail parties and group dinners: from showmen to showstoppers, divas to dreamers, for the sweet moves, deep grooves and fresh shoes - hear a bravo for the late arvo and an alright for the all-night. From black-tie to drink-the-house-dry, our event planners are masters of atmosphere and simply adore revelry of all descriptions. Please note that while this semi-private space is separate from our main dining room, it is still part of the restaurant and as such, benefits from the same vibrant atmosphere and music programming.
