Great lil pasta shop located in Pyrmont, Service was amazing, Ambience is great and food is good. Not at great only because the mains were a bit under seasoned but i was well aware of it as a friend recommended the place said it. However, Still a good place to go for and great price for wines BTB.
Absolutely loved our dining experience at Pasta Rosa! We had a great variety of entrées — fritto misto with amazing jalapeno aeoli, arancini, polpette, and bruschetta — all delicious and beautifully presented. That jalapeno aeoli was spot on! The mains were equally impressive, especially the squid ink crab linguini, wagyu cotoletta. Carbonara was everyone’s favourite in our table. Dessert was the perfect finale with the pistachio tiramisu and Basque cheesecake. Delicious! The ambience was lovely and intimate — just perfect to celebrate our special family moment. The service was also exceptional — so welcoming, attentive, and made our night extra special. Highly recommended 💕
Hubby and I went here for an early Valentine’s Day dinner and wereSO impressed by the quality of their pasta dishes! The prawn linguine was one of the best pastas we’ve had, perfectly cooked and excellent quality of ingredients and sauce. They let us know that they have not one but two Italian chefs in the kitchen, you can definitely tell!
Last Sunday , We were excited about this highly recommended Italian restaurant from instagram. However, the pasta was very disappointed , there no seasoning in their prawn spaghetti . Each pasta about Aud$30 average. I have to say food quality was very poor ( Chopped frozen prawn?). Don’t waste money . Nduja ragitoni pasta was only taste heavy $5 sun-dried tomatoes taste , nothing else….. risotto was not much mussels or mushroom taste . I am not sure is it an Italian taste?????? I just finished my Italy trip last October….. nothing like this …..We passed feedbacks and waitress was offering some complimentary dessert, but I ordered it and they still charged the dessert. Very bad experience …..and restaurant was full of noisy from big table uneducated kids running everywhere.
A truly hidden gem, found by chance, right in the heart of Pyrmont. Me and my partner ordered a serve of garlic bread and a plate of tomato gnocchi to share and both agreed it was the best tasting we had ever had. We then had the pistachio tiramisu—and of my was it delicious! Too bad we live 3 hours away, because we’d be around all the time. We cannot wait to eat here again on our travels!
