Hotel
•Rydges Cronulla Beachside is a four-star hotel overlooking one of Sydney’s best beaches. It also contains within its sizeable walls a number of high-quality function and conference venues. Is there much more one needs to know than that? Probably not. Rydges Cronulla Beachside has a dedicated conference level, containing five rooms accommodating up to 200 guests. The Sutherland Room and Red Radish both sport floor-to-ceiling glass windows/walls, and are well suited to larger conferences and weddings. They also open up to a charming terrace, well suited to canapes or pre-dinner drinks.
Rydges Cronulla Beachside also boasts a number of smaller meeting rooms. That array of function venues comes with a delightful bonus - they’re located within a four-star hotel. Guests, out-of-town family members, and clients are able to stay in any of Rydge’s spacious accommodations, many of which boast panoramic views of the beautiful bay beneath. Rydges Cronulla Beachside is found at the end of Kingsway, where it meets Elouera Road (and the beach). The hotel is mere minutes from Cronulla train station and is located about forty minutes drive away from the Sydney CBD. It's the perfect venue for a relaxed yet professional setting, allowing attendees to seamlessly transition between work and leisure.

Our TV in the bedroom wasn't initially working, that was quickly fixed. There was mould in the corner of the shower, this was easily removed with a face washer. I don't think the staff are doing a proper job. I requested a hot chocolate at night, couldn't get one, even though the chef and staff were still around. Had to ask for extra milk, although no skim milk available. The bed was amazingly comfortable. At check in our bedroom wasn't available at the time, we were upgraded to another room at a cost of $50 per night. The dining room needs to be open every night. Hot Chocolate pods or packets need to be made available. The staff didn't provide everything that was ordered on the room service for breakfast. A bit disappointed. But if we don't point out these things listed, a group can't learn.
I recently spent 4 nights at the Rydges Cronulla Beachside hotel. I was a little disappointed in the standard of the hotel. I had to request coat hangers on arrival and couldnt get through to reception so had to go down and ask for some. The cleanliness of the room wasnt great and the daily service was terrible. There was a hair scrunchie on my side table when i arrived. The Bed as never made properly and on one occassion i had no towells and again had to request some. On a positive note the bed was super confy and the pilows were great. The hotel definitely needs an upgrade and the staff need training.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The check-in was smooth, and my room had the most incredible ocean view — waking up to the sound of the waves was just perfect. 🌊 The location couldn’t be better, right across from the beach and walking distance to cafes, restaurants, and the main strip. The room itself was spotless, modern, and had everything I needed — comfy bed, good air-con, and a balcony to enjoy the view. Breakfast downstairs was fresh and delicious, and the coffee was actually really good (rare for a hotel buffet!). I also appreciated how quiet and relaxed the whole place felt — perfect for a weekend getaway. Overall, I couldn’t fault it. Whether you’re after a relaxing beach escape or a romantic weekend away, Rydges Cronulla is the spot. I’ll definitely be back. 🌴☀️
Rydges Cronulla Beachside Hotel is a fantastic place to stay, offering stunning ocean views and a relaxed coastal atmosphere. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to unwind after a long day. The staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which really enhances the overall experience. Its location is perfect, right by the beach and close to local cafés, restaurants, and transport. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for both leisure and business travelers looking for comfort and convenience by the sea.
One of the best hotels I've stayed in, with just a two minute walk to the beach and with amazing views of Gunnamatta Bay. And only a short distance from Botany Bay and national parks. A great place to stay ,and enjoy the outdoor pool, free w-ifi and many other things...Rock pools, some adventure on foot, beautiful beach to swim in.. I will stay again for sure. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience in the Cronulla area..
