My parents are currently staying at this hotel for a 30-day stay during our home renovation, and unfortunately the experience has been extremely disappointing. They still have another 3 weeks to go, but they already want to leave early because they do not feel welcomed here. We requested daily touch-up cleaning (making the bed, replacing towels, replenishing amenities, and emptying rubbish) — a basic and standard service for any 4-star hotel. However, this has not been provided, and the manager, Ashleigh, has been very harsh and unaccommodating about this simple request. I have left this review hoping that the actual hotel owner reads it, because Ashleigh behaves as if she is the owner and is trying to operate the hotel outside the standard scope of a 4-star property. The current level of service is unacceptable and well below industry expectations. While we agreed to weekly deep cleaning, daily light servicing is essential, especially for long-stay guests. Instead of helping, the manager’s attitude has made my parents feel uncomfortable and undervalued as guests. Compared to previous years when Radisson managed this property, the standard has clearly dropped. My parents have stayed here before and were comfortable, but this time the lack of service and poor management has caused unnecessary stress during their renovation period. I genuinely hope the owner reviews the situation and ensures the property returns to true 4-star standards. At the moment, the experience is closer to a 3-star level. Very disappointing overall.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Attended a two-day training at Rydges Darling Square Apartment Hotel and had a great experience. The staff were professional and welcoming 🤝, the conference setup was smooth and well organised. Food and drinks were excellent 🍽️☕, rooms were clean and comfortable 🛏️✨. Special thanks to Huong, the Asian café supervisor 🌸 — friendly, attentive and very thoughtful, especially with vegetarian meals 🌱. Highly recommended for conferences and business stays. Will definitely return 👍

The room was far from quiet and had very poor sound insulation. Noise from children upstairs was clearly audible throughout my stay. This was particularly disappointing as I had specifically requested a quiet floor, yet I was assigned a second-floor room facing the street. The minibar policy was also very confusing. In most hotels, complimentary water is provided and a clearly priced minibar menu is displayed. Neither was the case here. Instead, I was charged AUD 4 per bottle, totaling AUD 12, without prior clarity. Service overall was extremely limited. Front desk staff showed no friendliness, and housekeeping knocked on the door aggressively, which made the experience uncomfortable. Overall, the stay was disappointing and did not meet basic expectations. I would not choose to stay here again.

This was another best hotel apartment stay... right next to George Street and a few minutes walk from Darling Harbour. We stayed for 20 days. Our 1bed apartments was neat clean and almost brand new. Everything in the room from kitchenette to bed linen was perfect. The bathroom was very clean with all extra amenities, replaced and cleaned every day. From reception to daily services, were excellent. All the receptionists were very kind and catered us the very instant, as twice we got key issues. Free WiFi with perfect streaming for our Chrome cast. Heating and cooling were excellent in the room. Terrace was small but clean. I highly recommend it. Will definitely stay next time.

Holiday with family and this room was perfect for us as it was roomy with separate rooms for us and kids. It's location is great within Sydney being walking distance from lots of shops and restaurants to eat at. There are 2 bathrooms as well which is great with 4 people. Kitchen is big and has a coffee pod machine which is a big upgrade from the usual instant coffee. You can also choose to not have your room made up daily and get a $10 voucher to use at the hotel which is good. Had an issue with 3rd floor Fire phone constantly ringing which I answered with no one there 1 day but when I reported it to reception they said it happens all the time but that was the only bad thing. Highly recommend the hotel.
