Visited Scruffy Murphy’s Irish Pub in Sydney, and it was exactly what you’d hope for in a true Irish bar. The beer was fresh and cold, the bartenders were friendly and quick, and the crowd had great energy. There’s a mix of locals and travelers, with live music and good banter flowing all night. The interior has that classic dark-wood Irish feel that makes you want to stay for “just one more pint.” Perfect for anyone looking for a lively, welcoming pub experience in the heart of Sydney.

It's a great pub with new events every day and a really nice atmosphere, especially the staff who pours a Guinness. I live near here and come almost every day (because the service is so good) If you're looking for an Irish pub in Sydney, I highly recommend this place!!!

Popped in for a bite after a long day of walking and exploring Chinatown. The food was good and the musician had a wonderful voice. I loved all the county flags hanging from the ceiling. Wished I had a bit of salt for the fries but otherwise a great experience overall.

Fantastic experience all round. Staff were friendly with great service, food was quick and delicious and the band was so on point with great classics being played the whole time. S&P squid was tender not rubbery at all, perfectly seasoned and generous diping sauce. Apple crumble the perfect light desert, not too sweet at all. Sticky date pudding had great consistency, moisture and flavour. Ideally a more even ratio of iceream to cake. Sauce was perfect 👌

Been here a couple times whenever I’m around Sydney, and their food is perfectly done every time! It never disappoints me. Their beef steaks are absolutely worth to have, also their beef burger as well! Decent pricing and quality food. Free seatings within the bar and live band are on the weekend.
