Wonderful new place in Crows Nest. Charred cauliflower was the best i have had in my life, ill come back for it every month i think, this was truly delicious, i honestly cannot stop thinking about and a little bit regret the fact that i shared it with my partner đ. Hibachi grilled steak, scallop crudo and brussel sprouts were stunning. separate massive thank you to Livais, his knowledge of whiskeys, cocktails and all the spirits is very impressive, and i think at some point my partner was paying more attention to him than to me đ

We visited on a weekday evening for dinner and the food was amazing. They cater for vegan and other dietary needs but would recommend the grilled cauliflower and maple brussel sprouts. Although we got there a bit early and ordered early, the food took a little longer but so worth the wait. The bartender/server was so lovely too, would come again!

Stunning and cozy place as you walk in. Youâre immediately greeted by the backlit cocktail bar and seated by the friendly staff. The ambience feels almost as if youâre in a dimly lit cave. Ordered the tasting menu for 2 and dishes came out really quick. Highlights were definitely the scallops and the mushroom tartare. Scallops were so fresh with a really fresh sweet soy dressing and the mushroom tartare had so much flavour with a crispy crunch from the rice crackers. The crispy pork belly was absolutely amazing, really fatty and tender and with a really crispy exterior. Felt the hibachi grilled steak was a little tough but the fries were fire. The drinks were also excellent, mango mezcal was refreshing and the ravens martini was very smooth. Felt the drinks were beautiful presented and well worth the price. The tasting menu gives you two free cocktails but we had to try a few others. Definitely recommend for a nice cozy date!

Cute little spot with three seating areasâinside, upstairs, and a cozy outdoor section đżđ˝ď¸. We sat outside after work on a weekday and were super comfy thanks to the heaters đĽđ. The food was deliciousđ but the service was a little on the slow side đ˘ânot a big deal if youâre not in a rush. Great vibe overall, weâd definitely go again! đâ¨

Captainâs Balcony at Crowâs Nest is a hidden gem. From the moment you step into the narrow, moodily lit space, youâre transported to an intimate, almost secretive dining haven. The ambiance is sultry and sophisticated, with dim lighting that adds a touch of mystery, while the jaw dropping floor to ceiling bar steals the show. The Captainâs Tasting Menu is an absolute steal at $79 and even cheaper if you book through First Table deal (50% offâyes, you read that right!). This culinary journey includes a expertly crafted cocktail and six inventive tasting dishes that showcase the kitchenâs creativity and skill. Standouts? The mushroom tartare was a revelationâearthy, umami-rich, and perfectly balanced with crispy textures. The hibachi grilled steak melted in the mouth, charred to smoky perfection, while the Earl Grey tea custard was a dreamy finale, blending floral notes with velvety sweetness. Every dish arrived like a work of art, plated with precision and flair. The service was attentive yet unobtrusive, guiding us through the courses with warmth. If youâre seeking a memorable night of inventive cuisine, stellar cocktails, and ambiance that oozes charm, Captainâs Balcony is your port of call.
