I think this studio deserves way more great reviews! 🌟 There's Dharma phylosophy intertwined into classes, chanting, headrubs, hands on assists, oh & I was sang to in Shavasana! 🙌🏼 To be truthful, if you have never ever done yoga before, maybe keep an eye for a slower paced Hatha/Yin vibe. Ofcourse the postures are adaptable to all levels, but helps if you have some familiarity with yoga before joining the Collab. However, I’m incredibly grateful to have found this space since moving to Australia. It’s become the one place where I dip in and out and really get to elevate my asana practice. The teachers are truly and wholeheartedly devoted to the practice, and the quality of teaching here is exceptionally high. There’s a depth, integrity, and true respect for yoga which oozes from the teachers! Oh and I might have forgotten to mention the view🤫🌊🌅

I was a member of The Collaborative Maroubra for years, and it truly stands out as more than just a typical yoga studio. Helen and the entire team of teachers are not only highly qualified but also incredibly attentive, always going the extra mile to help improve posture and alignment. This was especially important to me during a phase when I was attending classes twice a day. The studio’s location, right by the ocean, adds an extra layer of tranquility and connection, particularly in the morning sessions. The combination of expert guidance and the beautiful seaside setting makes it a unique and transformative experience. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking more than just a regular yoga practice.

After travelling the world and ending up in Sydney, I found a home away from home. The classes, the community, the diversity of teachers - it has been wonderful to spend three whole weeks baked in the Collaborative community. I love the ethos of Inspire, Heal + Connect and that permeates through all the teaching and the feeling when you are inside the studio. The views of the water are stunning and it is an incredible to place to watch the sunrise. The studio owner Helen is a warm ball of love and a talented teacher - she has classes on most days! Lastly, BEST VIEWS IN SYDNEY!

What an absolutely beautiful space! The view is incredible, the community is full of warm and genuine people. The teachers themselves are outstanding, with thorough cues in the practice itself and with thought provoking dialogue on how to apply it in your life. It is simply beautiful. I had resigned myself to the fact that yoga wasn't for me, after a few disappointing experiences at other studios but The Collaborative completely upended that idea! I never fail to walk out feeling like a brand new man and I cannot recommend this space enough.

The studio offers such a tranquil setting, and their commitment to offering such invigorating yet mindful sessions was far more than I could have ever hoped for.
