A great venue for a concert with your favourite artist. It was our first time here, so we had to research where to park, what time to get here, etc. We parked within a short walking distance from the venue at Wilson carpark RPA Medical centre. Prepaid for the parking but were charged again on exit😳. The doors opened exactly at the time specified on the ticket. We had about 45 minutes to get drinks, snacks and buy some merch. There were toilets on the ground floor and upstairs. The atmosphere was jazzy, with dim lighting and smoke on the stage. The bar was well stocked. We saw the beautiful and talented Dami Im perform, along with her guitarist, Stephen, they brought the house down. The sound engineer was excellent though Dami’s powerhouse voice would probably sound great anywhere. The lighting was amazing and music volume perfect. Looking forward to seeing more shows at The Vanguard.

Was such a beautiful setting with the limited space! Enjoyed a live preformance by the amazing Dami im. Due to space theres a limited menu, fortunately the drink menu has looked after the rest!

INCREDIBLE! We recently held our surprise wedding at The Vanguard, and my partner and I could not be happier with how everything turned out. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to make the experience seamless, stress-free, and truly special. Every staff member was incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely invested in ensuring our day was perfect. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their warmth and professionalism made us feel completely supported throughout the entire process. The venue itself is absolutely spectacular. The character, atmosphere, and attention to detail created the most magical setting for our celebration. Our guests couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful and unique the space was. The Vanguard handled everything with such care and expertise that we were able to fully enjoy every moment. We are so grateful to the entire team for helping create memories that we'll cherish forever. If you're looking for a venue with exceptional service, an incredible atmosphere, and a team that truly cares, we couldn't recommend The Vanguard more highly.

The place is retro and very well maintained, has great acoustics, the seats are super comfortable, and the atmosphere is lovely. My only criticism is regarding the menu (I would add more options) and expand the cocktail selection.
