•Tiger Pocha is a modern Korean fusion restaurant and bar located in the heart of Sydney’s Chinatown. Inspired by Korea’s vibrant “pocha” (street bar) culture, we blend traditional flavors with a contemporary twist. The space features warm lighting, Korean folk art, and an energetic yet cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for gatherings, group dinners, and late-night drinks. With two floors, including a stylish upstairs bar and an inviting ground-floor dining area, Tiger Pocha offers an unforgettable experience filled with food, drinks, and good energy.
We ordered the Rose Tteokbokki, Seaweed Glass Noodles, and Fried Chicken with the house special corn sauce. The Rose Tteokbokki started off okay — not as spicy as usual, but the texture quickly turned overly chewy and almost inedible once it cooled down. The Seaweed Glass Noodles were fine but nothing particularly memorable. The Fried Chicken itself was quite good — crispy and juicy — but the corn sauce didn’t really complement the dish and ended up taking away from it in my opinion. Portion wise is definitely enough for two people. Also worth noting: the restaurant offers a 5% discount if you leave a Google review.
Great food especially the rose ttebbokki very yummy. Chicken was meh but the sauce is quite nice. Bimbimbap I think taste pretty same same with other Korean places. This place is a bit more on the expensive side. Vibe is good for the place. IG: @arnxkh
The place is very spacious and food is very good. Haven't had this flavorful korean food in a while, truly delicious. The portions are huge, we ordered 3 dishes for 3 people and it was a lot. Favorite was the spicy soy chicken, very new taste. Staff are very friendly as well.
Came here after seeing a video about their grand opening and the 33% off promotion. They also had a 5% off if you left a google review (only saw the sign as I was leaving). I wasn’t sure if they had a booking system, so I messaged them on Instagram and they replied really quickly—managed to get a table for Friday night. We ordered a few dishes: • Wagyu tartare with octopus – on the sweeter side, came with salt and sesame oil. Decent but not particularly memorable. • Spicy soy fried chicken – not very spicy and didn’t really have much soy flavour. It came with whole garlic cloves, which would’ve been better sliced. • Rose tteokbokki – tasted as expected, creamy and comforting. The vibe and décor were great, a fun spot to hang out and have food and drinks with friends. Staff were lovely, service was quick, and everything came out promptly. Would recommend booking ahead, especially on weekends.
Great Korean spot in Chinatown. Generous portions and tasty dishes—especially the spicy cheese chicken and the rose tteokbokki. The wagyu tartare and honeycomb makgeolli were also really good. Fun place for a casual catch-up.
