•Tiger Pocha is a modern Korean fusion restaurant and bar located in the heart of Sydney’s Chinatown. Inspired by Korea’s vibrant “pocha” (street bar) culture, we blend traditional flavors with a contemporary twist. The space features warm lighting, Korean folk art, and an energetic yet cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for gatherings, group dinners, and late-night drinks. With two floors, including a stylish upstairs bar and an inviting ground-floor dining area, Tiger Pocha offers an unforgettable experience filled with food, drinks, and good energy.
We ordered the Rose Tteokbokki, Seaweed Glass Noodles, and Fried Chicken with the house special corn sauce. The Rose Tteokbokki started off okay — not as spicy as usual, but the texture quickly turned overly chewy and almost inedible once it cooled down. The Seaweed Glass Noodles were fine but nothing particularly memorable. The Fried Chicken itself was quite good — crispy and juicy — but the corn sauce didn’t really complement the dish and ended up taking away from it in my opinion. Portion wise is definitely enough for two people. Also worth noting: the restaurant offers a 5% discount if you leave a Google review.
I had some of the best Korean food ever for late-night snacks! If you're a fan of Korean "Pocha," you definitely shouldn't miss this place. Must-tries: the "Beef Brisket Tteokbokki"—loaded with ingredients and the sauce is amazingly flavourful! And the "Spicy Soy Fried Chicken"—it's so different from any other fried chicken, incredibly tasty and unique.
What an amazing place to go to for Korean street style food and drinks. We loved their seafood hotpot, cheese corn, fried chicken, steak and creamy sauce. Waffles fries were freshly made and crispy. The soju sangria was also super refreshing and yum.
The place is very spacious and food is very good. Haven't had this flavorful korean food in a while, truly delicious. The portions are huge, we ordered 3 dishes for 3 people and it was a lot. Favorite was the spicy soy chicken, very new taste. Staff are very friendly as well.
All the staff were incredibly friendly. The restaurant was bustling on Saturday night, with the seafood pie featuring an array of fresh catches. I tried the mustard octopus with raw beef for the first time, and the portions of all dishes were exceptionally generous.
