We recently dined at Luna Lu . Second time within three months. and it was fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers a beautifully comfortable ambiance, striking the perfect balance between elegance and relaxation. The outdoor seating is especially delightful overlooking harbour bridge and opera house . Also attentive and patient service. Our waiter took time to explain dishes, answer questions, and ensure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Their professionalism and warm attitude specially from floor manager made the evening even more enjoyable. The food was exceptional, with consistently high quality across all dishes we ordered. Every plate was beautifully presented and full of flavour, showcasing both creativity and precision in execution. Overall, Luna Lu delivers an unforgettable dining experience — outstanding service, superb food, and a welcoming environment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable meal.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a 13th birthday at Luna Lu in Sydney, and it was a memorable experience! From the moment we arrived, the vibe was warm and inviting, with great views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House despite the huge cruise ship near the opera house blocking a bit of the view, but it added to the experience. The food was a highlight of the day — delicious, beautifully presented, and as tasty. We ordered a range of share plates, including the vibrant purple dumplings, pork belly bao buns, candied seafood fried rice, and the sweet yuzu chicken. Lovely Asian fusion flavours & colours . To top it all off, we had the opera house themed cake for dessert, which was as delightful to look at as it was to eat. The birthday girl was absolutely thrilled with the food and the overall experience, which really made the day stand out. It was a hot day, and while most of the shaded tables were booked (we had reserved ours a week in advance), our waiter went above and beyond. Our waiter (sorry don’t remember his name but he was a very tall man with an European accent, thank you for your service) who was very friendly and accommodating, quickly arranged a large umbrella for us pushing it all the way to our table and some how made it fit ensuring we had the perfect shade while we enjoyed our meal. He ensured that we were in the shade as he checked on the umbrella moving it from time to time. His service at Luna Lu was top-notch, making the experience even more enjoyable. The combination of great food, attentive service, and awesome harbour views made it a perfect celebration. Highly recommend Luna Lu for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food in a beautiful location with a welcoming atmosphere.

Wonderful experience here for my surprise birthday dinner. We were very impressed with the vegetarian options available (spicy dan dan noodles and moo shoo mock chicken) and service was incredibly attentive. Do try the pandan fried icecream- its a must! Greatly enjoyed dining harbourside for the first time :)

Took my partner here for his 27th Birthday, the staff sat us at a great spot at the front. The waiter was attentive and polite, very impressed with the wait service. The drinks were delicious. Food was a bit average, the burrata was too thick, not runny at all, they brought up burnt toast which was quite underwhelming. My partner loved the Luna duck, the egg noodles were average and the steak had no flavour and was over cooked. The presentation was amazing, just lacked the flavours. The san Choy bow was unavailable as was the roast potato’s which was unfortunate. Overall the experience was great but the food was underwhelming. Wouldn’t come here again. However, the wait staff were incredible and I couldn’t fault them.

Luna Lu is an impressive Asian fusion restaurant that truly delivers on flavour, ambience, and experience. We tried the deep-fried ice cream, green leaf dumplings, edamame fried rice, and the signature Luna duck — every dish was beautifully presented and packed with amazing taste. The location is excellent, offering a great atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. The staff were helpful, attentive, and made the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Do keep in mind that prior reservations are required, as the place gets quite busy. Overall, a fantastic dining experience and one I would highly recommend!
