Went for the popular high tea set. For an Asian-inspired high tea, the food was really interesting and I was looking forward to it. But some of the pastries weren't super flavourful. The only parts I really enjoyed were the savoury food, but it wasn't anything special except for the presentation. You do get free entry into the garden and you get to walk around so sitting next to the pond and nature was really pretty
Had an amazing set menu lunch with my husband. The view of the Chinese friendship garden was so pretty and tranquil. It wasn’t too busy however we were there @ 1:30 on a Tuesday. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. I would definitely come back if i ever return to Sydney.
The set menu includes a great selection of entrees like fresh oysters with soy sesame dressing, juicy xiao long bao, duck spring rolls, and a standout tempura prawn bao. For mains, I picked the slow-cooked pork belly — tender and full of flavor, paired with poached veg and fragrant rice. Dessert was mung bean cake with sweet osmanthus — light and not overly sweet, a perfect finish. Service was smooth, ambiance was clean and modern. Would recommend for a special lunch or dinner outing with friends or family!
This place is amazing! The food is exceptional. My friend and I had the high tea set. The savory dishes were good but their pastry is even better. My favorite savory dishes is the duck tartlet as it’s a perfect combination of the salty duck flavor and slight sweetness from the filling. The sweets changed every seasons. This time we got a jasmine filled pastry, coconut milk panna cotta with koi jelly, mung bean cake, pandan fondant mochi, persimmon pastry, date pastry, and sweet potato pastry. We had to share some of the pastries but I think that’s better as it’ll be too much for us. Overall, it’s a fun experience and I’d love to go back 😊
I had my hens yesterday at One Dining and they truly exceeded our expectations. They went above and beyond to make the day special. My friends were running late due to traffic, and the staff were incredibly considerate and patient. We were even given a complimentary drink, which we really appreciated. A big thank you to the Filipino manager, the waitstaff, and the two lovely ladies who served us from beginning to end. You all made my hens so comfortable and accommodating. The ambiance was beautiful and relaxing, and it was nice to just chill around after eating. Highly recommended! I’ll definitely be coming back. 💕
