Reviews for Waterview Bicentennial Park

Located at Bicentennial Drive, Sydney Olympic Park, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 Our group have been to this cafe several times now. It’s always great to come have a lovely meal or just a cake 🍰 with coffee/tea. You sit outside but there’s coverage to protect you from the elements. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Willing to help in any way. There’s plenty of parking 🅿️ close by and good toilet 🚻 facilities including disabled toilets. The menu, both a breakfast and lunch menu offers a delicious 😋 range of options. Would definitely recommend coming here when visiting Bicentennial Park. It’s a great place to sit and enjoy a bit to eat and catch up with friends or family while you are surrounded by the beautiful parklands. It’s also dog 🐶 friendly. You can also hold functions such as weddings. It’s a place with many different functions. Thumbs up!! 👍👍

Recently attended a charity fundraising dinner at Waterview, Bicentennial Olympic Park, and overall it was a lovely experience. The venue itself is beautiful — the ambiance and especially the water views are truly stunning and create a very calming, premium feel. With a gathering of 600+ guests, the space handled the crowd very well. The canapés were a highlight — fresh, hot, crisp, and genuinely delicious. Credit to the catering team for getting that right at scale. The main course, however, wasn’t cooked to perfection, which was a bit disappointing, though understandable given the size of the event. There’s definitely room for improvement on consistency for large functions. A tip for future event planners: If possible, schedule events during the daytime or at least 1.5–2 hours before sunset. The water views are absolutely worth enjoying in daylight and really elevate the whole experience. Do note that parking fees apply before 6:00 pm, while parking is free after 6:00 pm — something to factor into event timing and guest convenience. There’s also a lovely café next door, which is a nice bonus, though it doesn’t stay open late. One small improvement area: the external entrance pavers/tiles could use a proper clean, as there were noticeable oil and grease marks which slightly detract from the first impression of an otherwise premium venue. Overall, a great venue with stunning views and strong catering for canapés — I’d rate it a solid 4-star experience. With a bit more attention to main course execution and external presentation, it could easily be a 5-star venue for events.

A nice place to get food and drinks in a beautiful big park with a big lake. Well worth a visit to take a break from busy Sydney. There are playgrounds for kids nearby also.
