While on our family road trip, we made Rooty Hill HQ a stop on our itinerary so we could watch Game 2 of the State of Origin on the big screen—and we’re so glad we did! We enjoyed a fabulous family dinner, with plenty of food options to suit everyone. The meals were absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic, especially for watching the footy. The whole complex is clean, family-friendly, and has so much going on, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal or spend a few hours. We had a wonderful experience and would happily return. Highly recommend!

Disappointing experience.. My husband and I went to see Jim Jeffries last night at the theatre and decided to get a bite to eat beforehand. He got the lobster July special for $29 which was cold and tough. I got the seafood chowder and garlic bread for $40 (!!!!). When I saw the chowder I instantly regretted ordering it. It came with a big chunk of barramundi - something I have NEVER seen on or in a chowder before. The chowder itself was cold and clagy, the mussels and clams had seen better days, the dish had clearly been sitting under the heat lamp, pre made for the busy period. It was inedible and for $40, I will never be going back. It seems like there are only 2 bars in the whole complex! When we went up for the show I decided to go to the bar that was attached to the theatre. Another mistake, it was complete chaos-took forever to get served with a lot of staff just trying to look busy with only one bar open. I missed the start of the show that I paid $112 for the ticket and didn’t get an apology from the bar staff for the extended wait. The whole place is centred around a maze of poker machines which is really unappealing if you’re not there to gamble. I won’t be back and I’ll be telling others not to go also! I also won’t taking more of my time emailing the generic email address to help ‘improve service’…this post is enough.

Amazing place often come here for dance stuff and food never disappoints except I have a friend that is celiac which means gluten is a big no which left her with very minimal options for food she had to go get maccas and then was not allowed in with said maccas . Attached is a picture of the maccas we had sitting on the floor outside of the door. Overall amazing place just needs more food options.

We love this hotel. Rooms are immaculate and comfortable. Fantastic buffet breakfast. So much choice of food at the hotel and next door at Wests. Lots of free parking. (I just wish that they did larger rooms for 5 people or more.)

This is place is genuinely located outside of planet Earth. I stayed in this hotel for 3 days from 20 March - 23 March 2026. Like inside of West HQ is unbelievably comfortable and welcoming. I would genuinely be willing to spend my entire night here working on my laptop. The dim lighting makes it 10 times even better, warm lighting makes you feel alive. Another thing is that somehow this place makes me feel very nostalgic in a way. Everything about West HQ and its outside perimeters also is so good. The free parking is great and there is always a parking spot you can find. West HQ at night is even better, It is quite a place worth visiting.
