Embracing a legacy of excellence, our award-winning wine list showcases an eclectic array, with a penchant for 'well made' natural wines including orange, skin contact, organic, and biodynamic varieties. From rare finds to aged treasures, our collection spans over 700 bottles and 65 wines available by the glass.
Meet our esteemed sommelier, Tim Perlstone, whose journey through the world of wine has been marked by accolades and expertise. A seasoned competitor in prestigious sommelier competitions, Tim's pursuit of mastery now sees him on the path towards earning the esteemed title of Master Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers.

The Upstairs Private Room Perched above the bar, our private dining room is the most exclusive of our spaces — complete with balcony views, custom built book and wine wall and a cozy fireplace. It feels more like an elegant European apartment than a venue, perfect for intimate celebrations, corporate dinners, or tasting events led by our sommeliers. The Dining Room with courtyard Tucked behind the bar, this pair of adjoining spaces offers the perfect balance of intimacy and atmosphere. Inside, the Dining Room glows with soft lighting, exposed brick, an inviting setting for long-table dinners, celebrations, and curated wine events. Step through the doors and you’ll find the Courtyard, a leafy, open-air escape draped in vines and string lights, perfect for balmy evenings and aperitivo-style gatherings. Together, they create a seamless indoor–outdoor experience, cozy and elegant in winter, breezy and sun-drenched in summer ideal for private functions that flow from shared meals to lingering drinks under the stars. Dark room ? It felt like walking into a dark room, and you stumble into people sitting at the bar & restaurant enjoying their favorite wines & foods. You need a torch 🔦 to beam into the menu to identify what you want to drink & eat. We have ordered octopus & barramundi and the knowledgeable French sommelier recommended a special white wine to go along. You can see an Asian guy cook / scorch the foods in front of the bar. Surprisingly the foods tasted good, and wine was great also. After a while your eyes adjusted to the darkness & you start to appreciate the intimacy & depth of the foods & wine. The place is also quite noisy (as bad as a Chinese restaurant). Nevertheless we have enjoyed the evening although feeling still hungry… This place is good for all types of couples & lovers…

The Wine Library is a consistent 5-star experience. I’ve visited several times now, and it never misses the mark. On our most recent visit, Debra looked after us. Her wine knowledge is exceptional; she navigated us through their extensive list and helped us find some absolute pearls. Beyond the wine, the food is fantastic—the new octopus carpaccio is a must-try—and the cocktails are top-tier. On a previous night, the bartender even whipped up some creative off-menu test cocktails that were brilliant. It’s a not-so-hidden gem in Paddington that is well worth a visit. Highly recommend! Try to guess the mystery wine!

Our first time experience was incredibly educating. Our sommelier Ruairi was very well versed and provided us with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting options and snacks provided. We loved the courtyard area where we were seated. On our next visit we would love to sample some of the menu options as the food looks very inviting. The ambience was extremely chilled and we will definitely be back soon!
