For Mother’s Day this year, I decided to take my mum and family to Zushi Barangaroo for lunch and it was honestly the best decision. Not having to cook or wash up made the day extra relaxing and special. I wanted my mum to dress up, enjoy herself and simply be spoiled for the day — and Zushi delivered exactly that. The food was absolutely outstanding, especially the sashimi omakase which my mum truly enjoyed. My kids loved the tiger and wagyu rolls, while the sashimi tacos were incredibly fresh and full of flavour. My dad and hubby couldn’t stop talking about the honey prawns, and we also devoured the chicken karaage, cucumber salad and the freshest oysters that were honestly to die for. Desserts were superb and the perfect way to finish lunch. The mini chocolate mousse, chocolate soufflé and miso profiteroles were enjoyed by everyone at the table and are highly recommended. The staff were amazing throughout the entire experience, especially Deborah who looked after us so beautifully. A special thank you as well to the lovely host Serena, who was so warm and friendly and truly made our day memorable. Well done Serena and your wonderful team 💗. We will definitely be back again next year for Mother’s Day lunch. See you all soon xxoo

High quality ingredients and freshness in all dishes we tried. The Waygu sushi roll was good but the highlight was the salmon & roe sushi roll. Both rolls were delicate in size. While the popular aged chicken was recommended as a special dish of the house, I would only recommend if nothing else appealed on the menu. Cucumber salad was fresh and balanced, and you can’t go wrong with Zushi’s perfectly cooked edamame

Absolutely loved this place! The waterfront view is beautiful and really adds to the whole dining experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made everything even better. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. The oysters with sauce were fantastic, perfectly balanced and super satisfying. Honestly, the sushi rolls are the best I’ve had in Australia. The wagyu tataki is a must-try tender, rich, and beautifully done outside and raw inside. The yuzu chicken was also fantastic, with a great citrusy kick that really stood out. The roasted duck was wonderful, the crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Even the sides were great and complemented everything really well. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

Came for the Bottomless Brunch, left very happy. The food is always excellent and the drinks were just as good. We added on the oysters which were my favourite, and the yuzu chicken was cooked very well (juicy and flavoursome). Great location in Barangaroo The staff are very attentive and quick to top up drinks, but they never feel intrusive. They even asked if we wanted new drinks when our timeslot only had 1min to spare so we appreciated not feeling rushed to leave. The a la carte menu is also great, highly recommend this place

I’m originally from Melbourne and have always thought Sydney’s food just doesn’t compare and is subpar. Then I dined here… incredible! The food and staff were amazing. We ate lunch here, then went engagement ring shopping and didn’t want to dine anywhere else so went back for dinner haha. And it was just as amazing 😍
