This place was quiet, had nice ambiance and waiters were very attentive and helpful with food recommendations. The price of the food is so good because it’s very high quality and fresh fish. Overall everything was delicious and I will definitely be coming back again sometime!
Upscale Japanese-style eateries is a wide category. This is at the accessible end of a spectrum. The menu has a respectable traditional Japanese look. The dishes look good, but fall short. The agadashi dofu (tofu) is firm tofu (traditionally silken) without the traditional skin and dancing fish flakes...the ponzu is not good at all. The other minor items too are ok to poor. The main player, the wagyu beef is tired, dryand under seasoned. No meal check for a $34 dish meant that the feedback comes here. Its a lovely room, but too far from the base quality expected.
Good sushi, good service, good vibes! We enjoyed the lovely outdoor seating. The service was prompt, each dish was served just as we finished the subsequent one. The staff were very kind and attentive. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The sashimi was a standout, the fish tasted incredibly fresh. This was our second time here and we’ll be back again!
Even though it was a breezy 18°C evening, we decided to sit outside—and I’m so glad we did. The hospitality here is simply outstanding. The team went above and beyond to keep us comfortable, serving our Miso Soup "extra hot" just as we asked. It felt like a warm hug in a bowl. Every dish was a joy. The Sashimi Tacos (served DIY style with crisp crackers) were fresh and playful, and the Corn Ribs were impossibly tasty with our draft beers. We hand-picked the Ebi (Prawn) and Hokkaido Scallop Nigiri, which were incredibly fresh—the scallop just melted away. The Tiger Roll was also a solid hit. We ended the night with the airy Soufflé Cheesecake. The total bill was $162 AUD (we happily added a 10% tip), and for the quality of food and such genuine care from the staff, it was worth every penny. Thank you for a wonderful night!
A super quality sushi restaurant with great bar and hughes selection of beverages. The meals were taste best with an excellent waiters service ! Great place for familes as well as casual couples lunch or dinner dates.
