Excellent staff at Reception and the Restaurant (waitress Kotomi is amazing!). Food was delicious, and they had plenty of options for us as vegetarians. We loved the cleanliness and modern design of the room. Fantastic bathroom, beautiful design of the shower and very satisfying shower pressure. Very practical location right opposite the Ferry terminal. We would have highly appreciated a sauna/wellness area during our stay for relaxation, and are wondering if that could be a possible addition for the future.

I recently stayed at the InterContinental Auckland on a Chase Reserve Edit stay + IHG Ambassador member and had an incredible experience. The hotel delivered modern, discreet luxury in every detail. Thanks to my status and Sarah, I was upgraded to a beautiful 11th-floor room with a stunning harbor view that made waking up each morning a highlight. A delicious welcome amenity was already waiting in the room, which set a warm tone right away. Executive Lounge access was a true pleasure, offering a relaxing space to unwind with excellent service. The location is desired — just a short walk to the ferry terminal, shops, theaters, and a wide range of dining options, making it easy to explore Auckland without needing a car. What truly elevated the stay was the outstanding team. Sarah at the front desk provided a warm, welcoming reception and continued that same gracious service throughout my visit. Augusto in the Executive Lounge was amazing — he always remembered my preferred beverages, makes an outstanding flat white and made every visit feel personal. Andy at Concierge delivered stellar, world-class assistance that went above and beyond. Highly recommend the InterContinental Auckland for anyone looking for refined hospitality with extraordinary service and a prime waterfront location.

Just finished a stay at this amazing hotel. Everything was exceptional, from check-in onward. The food is delicious, and I got the best night of sleep of my entire trip. We did a lot of traveling throughout the North Island, and this was our final stop before flying home. The hotel felt immaculately clean, and the rooms were large and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our two children in a 2 queend bed room. The staff were very nice and accommodating, and we felt very welcomed. They offered our kids a coloring kit, and a baby bathrobe for our toddler, which was super cute. Because it was Matariki, they also dropped off some bon bons at our room. The hotel breakfast was fantastic, and we stayed in and got in-room dining because we were exhausted; the bento boxes for the kids had very generous portions. We loved staying here and would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful family weekend staycation at InterContinental Auckland, and everything was fantastic. The service was incredible from start to finish. Our room was a perfect size, beautifully presented, and very comfortable. The harbour views were absolutely breathtaking, and everything about the room was above and beyond our expectations. We also had Club access, which was absolutely worth it. The Club Lounge itself was exceptional, with great food, drinks, and service. We really enjoyed the afternoon tea, and later in the evening we received a complimentary bottle of wine, which was such a lovely touch. There were also many thoughtful little perks throughout our stay, including the turndown service with chocolates left on the bed. I would also like to mention the staff member who was serving us canapés in the Club Lounge on Saturday evening, 30 May. I cannot remember his name, but he was extremely helpful, kind, and professional. His service really stood out and made our evening even more enjoyable. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and we would definitely stay again.
