The Bunkers
The Bunkers is the ultimate venue for any private or corporate experience. Nestled in the scenic high hill terrain, this versitile venue caters for up to 50 guests and is the ideal setting for your next day out with multiple activity options. It is established as a unique purpose-built Claybird Shooting facility with the ability to host first time and NZ competition shooting. With the latest Beretta shotguns in hand, you’ll discover up to 20 hidden Claybird traps across four fields.
The Quails Nest
The Quails Nest is a charming and intimate venue within the tranquil valley surroundings. It is perfect for smaller gatherings of up to 15 guests that seek a shooting fueled expereience. Guests will be entertained for hours with adrenaline-filled activities of Claybird Shooting, Darts, Extreme Golf Challange, with causal light catering available.

We were incredibly lucky to have our wedding ceremony at Kauri Bay Boomrock - an absolutely stunning venue with the most helpful staff! It was love at first sight for the venue for me when I saw the breathtaking views and it was something I wanted all our guests to enjoy too. We had guests fly in from 12 countries and they all agreed that this was the most beautiful venue they've ever seen. We were super lucky with the weather on the day as it was nice and sunny and we even got to see a beautiful full moon rise. However, the weather was just the cherry on the top - everything about the venue from the tips you get from the staff to the food and attention to detail to make sure your every need is taken care of was incredible! It made planning a destination wedding from Australia so much easier. Both my husband and I will always have fond memories of this place and can't wait to come back as guests some day!

From start to finish, everything ran smoothly and felt completely effortless, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. Every single guest commented on how incredible the venue was: the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the overall vibe of the day were all outstanding. There wasn’t a single thing we could fault. The food, in particular, was raved about throughout the night, and the staff's professionalism and warmth did not go unnoticed. A huge thank you to Emily in particular who created such a calm, stress-free experience for us, and the day exceeded our expectations tenfold. It felt so special, seamless, and thoughtfully run. Even when it began to rain, the team was quick to bring out umbrellas and ensure the ceremony could continue, and this is now one of our favourite memories from the day. We felt well looked after the entire time and were impressed with the Kauri Bay team's experience and professionalism. We genuinely couldn’t have imagined a better place to get married! We also think we may have convinced a few friends to get married here, too, so hopefully we’ll be back as guests before too long!
