Tucked away in Spice Alley, Holy Duck is a must-visit if you’re a fan of, well… duck! As the name suggests, it’s the star of the show—and it absolutely delivers. Service was smooth, friendly, and efficient, making the whole experience easy and relaxed. Perfect for a lazy Sunday lunch. The duck itself was perfection—succulent, beautifully seasoned, and not at all greasy. Every bite was rich with flavour. We also tried the spring rolls and they were a standout—crispy, fresh, and packed with goodness. If you’re in the area, make sure you stop in and order the duck. You won’t regret it.

Visited Holy Duck in Chippendale for lunch today with my wife and daughter — party of 3. Total bill came to $60. We ordered 2 roast duck with rice and 1 roast pork with rice. The food was tasty overall — the plum sauce was a nice touch. The duck especially stood out and was the highlight of the meal. However, the rice was a bit hard and the portion sizes were quite small for the price. This isn't the kind of place you'd go to if you're looking to fill up. If you're after generous portions, you'd probably be better off at a traditional Chinese BBQ shop. Service was friendly and professional, which we appreciated. Not sure I'd return, but if I did, it would be just for the roast duck.

Came here for dinner the other night. The roast duck taste good not too fatty although the cucumber and leek served to us for the pancake is on the dry side. Crispy fried rice ball have plenty of duck and vegie however we find the rice ball is a little hard. Steamed green is great! Portions are good. Great atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful. Mid week is the best time to go as tried walk-in on a Friday and the place is book out.

The food was great but the service can be better. Really enjoyed the AYCD buffet, did not request for any refill because the portion was sufficient. The crispy duck was like a confit whole duck instead of the usual Peking style. We really enjoyed it. However when we were first seated. The experience was not pleasant. Do not interrupt the guy when he explains the AYCD concept or he will snap at you. Poor service standard and quality. Totally spoil the entire experience from then.

We went last week with my friend on Tuesday night. It was very busy around 7pm and less staff, however they still were very attentive and caring, especially Katie, she is very friendly and professional. I ordered the signature crispy duck, dumpling and seafood fried rice. The duck was amazing, even you can eat the bone as well ( so crispy). Drink was average, like lychee cocktail. Just a bit down point of table setting, quite narrow and close to other table.
