What a wonderful food hall in the middle of CBD. Great vibes, great concept, a lot of excellent choices. A wonderful place to hang out with friends and family or just chilling solo. Will definitely return when I'm in town.

We had such a lovely shopping and dining experience. Escaped the rain and spent a good few hours enjoying the market and food market. My husband and son had the Lebanese street food. They Highly recommend it. My daughter had delicious fish and chips. I enjoyed the Pho. Desserts were equally yummy! Awesome spot for a drink very relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff.

The shop owner of the Cheese Table, Christina, is very nice and let us taste a wide range of cheese. The table setting is extremely elegant and we enjoyed hearty hospitality from her. We shared unlimited topics from food to children with her and have an unforgettable afternoon. We miss this place, food, wine and of course the home-like warm atmosphere there.

Sydney’s newest culinary destination, be prepared to embark on a delicious journey that pays homage to the artistry of food. The market is a vibrant tapestry of flavours and aromas, celebrating the rich diversity of cuisine that makes Sydney a culinary hotspot. Madame Ban Mi, where one can indulge in the ultimate fusion of crispy pork crackling nestled in a crusty baguette. This mouthwatering creation features tender chicken liver pâté paired with creamy mayo, which melts seamlessly into the crunchy pork. Each bite is elevated by the addition of salted cucumber, fresh coriander, pickled carrot, daikon, and a kick of chili, all topped off with a sprinkle of spring onion and a dash of fish sauce. Luke Luk Laksa Dumplings, crafted with authenticity in mind, are a must-try for any fan of Vietnamese cuisine. Filled with aromatic laksa broth and fresh ingredients, each dumpling delivers a burst of flavor that transports you straight to the streets of Vietnam. My culinary adventure doesn’t end there, I continue to explore & treat myself to Loukamades, traditional Greek doughnuts served hot and fresh, oozing with golden syrup and dusted with cinnamon. These crispy delights are a perfect balance of sweetness and warmth, making them an indulgent snack that captures the essence of comfort food. For those who appreciate a flaky pastry, Thomas Hay Bakery, the Danish strawberry pastry is something to behold—a blend of buttery layers filled with fresh strawberries that will have you coming back for seconds. And to wrap up my culinary adventure, Biaggio Coffee and Cannoli. Nothing says indulgence quite like freshly made classic ricotta cannoli. The crisp shell encases a creamy, sweet filling that perfectly balances the flavour. Hay Street Market is a treasure trove waiting to be explored. With each dish, you can savour the passion and culture that fuels this vibrant setting, making every visit a celebration of culinary excellence.

Hay St Market has everything from A to Z, whether you want food or gifts they have it all. The food court portion is amazing. Fresh pasta, meat pies, coffee anything you can imagine they have it. There's a butcher, a fish market and so much more. The other half is a flea market with shoes, jackets, shirts, hats you name it. The market is your one stop shop while in Sydney and a must see one your Sydney adventures.
