Stunning view and ideally located. Bedrooms are clean and pleasant. The bed is of excellent quality. The interior is surely old fashion but this is an old hotel too. Staff is extremely kind and willing to help. Walking distance from the city center makes it very convenient for lunch or dinner outside the hotel. Spent three delightful nights! Well done the team b

Our family of four enjoyed our stay in a family room for four night very much . The room is spacious and equipped with simple kitchenware. All the hotel staff are so hospitable, polite and helpful. The breakfast menu options are good and delicious. After hiking in the mountains during the day , we wound down by enjoying live music in the lounge area , playing board games as a family , or playing table tennis or billiard. The only regret was that most of the weight equipment in the gym were faulty. But barbell and dumbbells were available for weight training. Will definitely return to this hotel if revisiting Blue Mountains.

We had the most unexpectedly magical Christmas here. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, very homey and comfortable. Our room was the same. And that view... We spent 2 hours just sitting at the bar, ordering coffee after coffee. It's great!!

Its a fantastic piece of architecture for those looking for a heritage listed hotel to stay for the night, the views are gorgeous and its location is close to both Katoomba and Leura. The mood is even better when its night time when a pianist might perform for hotel guests. Most rooms come with a spacious quarters and spa baths for relaxing trips. However do note its a century old so expect what of the obvious even with the modern renovations. Recommended for travelers and those seeking fantastic picture shots on heritage buildings up in the blue mountains.

We had the pleasure of staying here for our anniversary and getting to know the history of the building and the area was such a humbling experience. The service from the staff was absolutely amazing they were friendly and very accommodating. The food here was amazing and It’s a great escape from the hustle and bustle lifestyle. The fireplace is what drew me to want to stay here and it didn’t disappoint. You can enjoy the fresh mountain air, great views and the fact that it’s close to local shops and outdoor activities such as scenic world is a bonus.
