Had a great July weekend at this lovely heritage hotel. Location on a hill gives a great view of the valley, and its short walk out of town ensured a quiet stay. Our room had no mountain view, but did have a large room with private gas fireplace and its own spa bath. Bed was comfortable and the aircon provided warmth despite the outside cold. We tried lunch in the fine dining room. The food was excellent and the price not out of line with the cuisine. The lounge bar features 1 gas and 2 wood fireplaces. We had some lovely nights enjoying drinks by the fire. The staff were welcoming and friendly. A real experience!

We stayed on 9/7/25 and had a lovely view of the valley. Room was huge. The fireplace made it so cozy. This place is historic, kitchen was in need of some TLC and the bathroom cupboard also, but in saying that you need to remember with refurb comes increase in costs, the bathroom window curtain was a little mouldy and could probably just do without as nobody can see in :) Shout out to the lovely reception staff, happy and helpful, polite, so amazing! Thank you to the room staff, everything was set out nicely & available, I think Cooper prepared our room. Thanks Cooper! Shout out to the staff on at breakfast the morning of 10/7/25, might of been maybe 4 of you we came across, all were so helpful, friendly, professional & polite, what a lovely breakfast we had! To a gentlemen in a suit that asked us on 10/7 around 10am did we want the fire on in the lounge area, thank you for looking out for your guests! Loved the fires on at night and the board games and love love love the furniture (lounges, seats, armchairs & tables). Something just so lovely about this place. Staff make it so lovely, I hope you all love working there as it really seemed you do! We will be back!

My daughter and I stayed at the Mountain Heritage Hotel for a couple of nights (28/07/2025 & 29/07/2925) whilst exploring Katoomba and her surrounds. On arrival we were so welcomed and it just kept getting better from there. The room was beautiful and clean and we had a lovely touch from Room Service leaving welcoming notes for us (thank you Roy). The entire hotel had a peaceful, quiet and cozy ambiance. A personal thank you to Nigel, Maddie and the California Bar staff for all your heartfelt kindness, attention and the really lovely way you interacted with us. Again, we felt so welcomed. It was an absolute pleasure to have stayed at the Mountain Heritage Hotel and the staff have truly made this a wonderful and memorable experience for both my daughter and myself. We were both so very grateful and cannot thank you all enough. For this, we will be returning again and again. Thank you again, so sincerely.

We’re currently staying at Mountain Heritage Hotel to celebrate our first anniversary, and even after just one night, we already feel so at home. What’s truly stood out is the incredible warmth and care shown by the staff. Every interaction has felt so genuine and thoughtful. A heartfelt thank you to Alex (we didn’t manage to confirm her name but she gave us the most beautiful welcome on arrival), Nigel for his kind hospitality in the morning, Mary, and the rest of the wonderful team who’ve been taking such great care of us. We also had our anniversary dinner at the Jamison Views Restaurant and it was such a memorable experience. Tracey made us feel so special throughout the evening. Even provided us with candles to make our anniversary extra special, we couldn’t be more grateful. And the cauliflower soup was phenomenal, rich, delicious, and full of flavour. Absolutely delicious! We only wish there was more… There’s such a peaceful, charming vibe here, and we’re so glad we chose this place to celebrate something so meaningful to us. We’ve still got two more nights ahead and we’re really looking forward to soaking in every moment. ❤️

Me and my partner stayed here and everything was absolutely amazing one of the best hotels in the blue mountains! We stayed in the heritage suite the room was beautiful and the fire was so cozy at night Jason the engineer was so friendly and helped us get it started and brought more wood to the room always asked if we needed anything and checked in on us during our stay it was so much appreciated! The service from the staff was exceptional everyone is so friendly welcoming and always made sure we had what we needed in our room. The food was divine! And the view is breath taking I truly wish we could have stayed longer than our 3 days but we will definitely be back to stay longer this is officially our winter holiday place to go to! Could not recommend this place enough
