We’re currently staying at Mountain Heritage Hotel to celebrate our first anniversary, and even after just one night, we already feel so at home. What’s truly stood out is the incredible warmth and care shown by the staff. Every interaction has felt so genuine and thoughtful. A heartfelt thank you to Alex (we didn’t manage to confirm her name but she gave us the most beautiful welcome on arrival), Nigel for his kind hospitality in the morning, Mary, and the rest of the wonderful team who’ve been taking such great care of us. We also had our anniversary dinner at the Jamison Views Restaurant and it was such a memorable experience. Tracey made us feel so special throughout the evening. Even provided us with candles to make our anniversary extra special, we couldn’t be more grateful. And the cauliflower soup was phenomenal, rich, delicious, and full of flavour. Absolutely delicious! We only wish there was more… There’s such a peaceful, charming vibe here, and we’re so glad we chose this place to celebrate something so meaningful to us. We’ve still got two more nights ahead and we’re really looking forward to soaking in every moment. ❤️

We had a great experience staying at the hotel. It has the old charm built in 1908. The parking is ample and has space at the back and front of the hotel. The check in was smooth and it was very courteous of the reception to show us where our room was, which parking will be closest and show us the facilities within the room. The beds were okay a bit too firm for my liking. The breakfast was just okay. It had a fixed order and you could order only once. It would have been good if there was a platter of fruits. Ideally the first coffee should be free so the breakfast left me not so satisfied. The view was great both from room and the breakfast room. The pianist was as there in the evening, their game room is really good. We enjoyed playing games and a sip a few drinks. Overall nice experience. The bathrooms come with spa tub which is huge and very functional.

We had a great stay at The Mountain Heritage Hotel, the staff were very friendly and kind, the restaurant food for breakfast and dinner was delicious and great value, onsite parking and fast wifi was great to see. The room was clean and tidy, spacious, nice towels and very comfy bed, floor was a bit creaky but it’s expected of an old building, would definitely stay here again, our only reason why the room was not 5 star was due to two prominent stains (one very large) in the carpet that were hard to miss. That aside we really enjoyed it and would definitely come again and recommend it to all.

Stunning view and ideally located. Bedrooms are clean and pleasant. The bed is of excellent quality. The interior is surely old fashion but this is an old hotel too. Staff is extremely kind and willing to help. Walking distance from the city center makes it very convenient for lunch or dinner outside the hotel. Spent three delightful nights! Well done the team b

The view from the room was breath taking. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Room had everything you need for a short comfortable stay. The attitude of the staff was obtuse. There was a slip from my side as even though I had searched a room with 2 adults and one child, booking.com showed up the Mountain view room which was for two people. I was not aware of this and went ahead with the booking. On the day we arrived at 4 pm, staff was all ready with our rooms. Even though I had selected a mountain view room, I was given a valley view room. When I confronted the front desk they first tried to confuse me by saying that all rooms are mountain view and I am mistaken since the name of the hotel is "mountain heritage". I was very clear that I had paid for Mountain view room and wanted the mountain view room since it was my husband's birthday and I just wanted him to enjoy his stay with the view. The staff then argued that I had booked for two people, though they were not aware before that a child is joining us, and wanted us to keep the valley view room. At this point I did not want to waste my evening anymore so I asked them that what can be done now, I was ready to pay for extra person or happy to adjust on the queen bed as it was just for a night. Finally they gave in and asked us to immediately leave the earlier room. I heard the receptionist tell his colleague to check if we were removing tea and coffee from the room. Anyhow I did not pay attention to this insult and let it go. Next day their manager again brought up the topic to prove it was our fault. This was our 2nd and last stay here.
